Beautiful lake with magnificent views and breathtaking sunset.
The lake is home to the entire ecosystem: I saw a heron, fish, ducks, squirrels and I'm sure many more animals thrive there.
What a great place to live: beautifully maintained property, awesome pool and community house and all this is near a wild life sanctuary.

I lived here for the past year. White the apartment was nice, the pool and gym were closed the entire time due to Covid, the owner refused to open it after state regulations said they could open it. This means that all tenants were paying fees for amenities We could not use. When moving out, I cleaned the apartment and did everything my lease agreement said I should do, and then they charged me $1200 for damages. The property had not been very well-maintained, and there was damage from previous tenants, and yet they blamed it all on me and my dog. When I called and spoke to them they only took

Staff in the front office is awesome and amazing they care about the tenants and they go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect for their tenants. The great thing about them is they actually care. I wish I would’ve moved here 10 years ago. This is a great place it’s quiet neighbors a friendly and we’re right around the corner from Siegen Lane where all the shopping centers are at and i’m still five minutes away from the mall of Louisiana. Safety is a big concern and because our previous experiences with our wheels and tires being stolen from our vehicle, I no longer feel safe living here. Sure, this has happened all over.
**However, when the gate is almost alway broken it makes it easy for criminals to enter and steal your rims and tires (from personal experience).

The ladies at Cypress Lake couldn’t have been more friendly, understanding and helpful! They made our first apartment experience above and beyond everything we expected! We were so sad to leave the beautiful lake and well taken care of complex. Our dogs absolutely loved the walking path and the dog park on premises. It made our transition that much easier! We loved living here with the convince of all the stores right around the corner and the lake helping us feel like they weren’t at the same time. This apartment complex is definitely one of the best in Baton Rouge!

The apartments are decent. Maybe a little over priced on the single bedrooms but in a good area. Unfortunately on the weekends, Saturday night and all day Sunday , the pools are crowded with people that do NOT live here! It becomes the Baton Rouge city pool. My apartment is near one of the 2 pools and on the weekend (particularly during pool hours) I can’t even park near my apartment. And these non-residents have zero respect for others. Recently moved in with my 2 kids and doggie, I truly have enjoyed my experience here with the ladies in the office and my apartment is very clean, no issues with maintenance and my apartment sits perfectly at the lake. I can now have a cup of coffee and watch my kids play on the lawn. I chose Cypress Lake for location and cleanliness of the community, it's truly one of a kind community.

My fiancé and I have loved Cypress Lake since we moved in. The ladies in the office have always been professional and sweet, its the main reason we chose it. We love the lake view and living with such a beautiful place to have coffee in the mornings. We haven't had any issues with maintenance and when we had a request, it was completed the same day. I have recommended this place to a couple of my friends and I will continue to do so! You won't regret living here.

We only spent 9 months there while I finished LSU. The track around the lake was great for running. The complex is in a great part of town. Siegen has about everything you could possibly want. The apartment was very nicely done. Felt very up to date unlike most apartments in Baton Rouge. Valet trash was nice, but trash seemed to get scattered around the campus. It was super quiet atmosphere. People who had pets have plenty of places to walk them. Never had any major issues with the apartment.
