University Village Apartments is THE closest apartment to UCR campus so if you’re looking for a nice place to live but need to be able to walk to campus, this is perfect! It’s in the smaller size but rooms are clean, updated and well maintained. It’s a pretty quiet apartment complex catering mainly to small families, singles and definitely students. They recently updated all laundry services/machines and all mailboxes as well. Manager and maintenance personnel are quickly responsive to requests or problems - really nice place to live!

Pretty good experience living here for the last 2 yrs. Great location and relatively safe neighborhood (since it's surrounded by UCR and older properties). For the price, the condition and upkeep of the units were decent. Cons: Management can be a little hard to reach and reason with sometimes. I didn't get my entire pro-rated rent back at the time I left (although I was told I would get it). The units don't have central heating/cooling and can get really hot/cold when climate chages. The kitchen space was a little too cramped for me, but that's a personal choice. This apartment complex is pretty

I highly recommend this apartment complex! It may look a little old but the units are in good condition and the complex is always improving. It is in a great location for both students and families. Although it isn't gated, I have never felt unsafe here. The University is next door and the Chancellors house is just up the street.
Management is great and very helpful. They were very cooperative with my speedy move in and my delayed move out. Very pet friendly. The residents are a mix of students and families. I never had any problems with anyone. It is a clean and well kept complex with two beautiful

Horrible management. NOT recommend this place. It's a good time for him to retire because I didn't feel his enthusiasm to his job. He had little patience to deal with those issues happening when you live there. When I come here first day, I told them our air fan in bathroom didn't work effectively, it took very long time to replace air in bathroom. They found that the fan still worked. So, he told me just open bathroom door. That's ridiculous ! Let the "fresh air" in bathroom come into my bedroom because of low efficiency of that fan?
The security is also a problem. These apartments don't have

This is one of the best places to live as a college student or any person for that matter. The rent is under $800 with water, gas, and trash included in your rent so it's not an additional cost. It is very pet friendly and parking is easy and plentiful. The people are very nice with awesome management.

This is really not a bad place. My unit was fully upgraded, for the price, location it's perfect. Parking is good as well.
The unit is a bit old, not that well against noise, so I suggest pick a unit that's inside. The plus side of a old unit is you get free water and free gas.
The manager is super cool with everything, also very pet friendly.
