You'll find us in our beautiful new studio space at The Mill at Shelburne Falls, in the historic renovated Lamson and Goodnow factory buildings. Our bright, spacious studio still overlooks the Deerfield River and Salmon Falls (from the other side of the river), and our dedicated and experienced teachers are committed to helping you work toward greater health, well-being, and self-awareness through skilled instruction in yoga, movement, and meditation.
We actively foster an environment in which your goals, needs, and intuitive wisdom take precedence over external performance or conforming to outside instruction. We value the process of inquiry and honor the multi-faceted, ancient, and evolving tradition of yoga.

Because a yoga class can be a challenging one for those with hearing difficulties, we are now using subtle sound amplification for some of our yoga classes. Our goal was to provide a boost for those who needed it while retaining the peaceful quality of the class for all. The feedback thus far has been positive in both regards!
A commercial elevator is in the first phases of construction at our new location, the second floor studio is accessible only by stairs. There are 22 stairs, with handrails on each side. When construction is complete, the studio will be accessible by elevator, with access to an ADA bathroom. We are excited that a fully accessible studio is on the way, and we will let you know when we have more details about a completion date.
A big THANK YOU to those who supported the fund & food drives for the Food Bank of Western MA and the West County Food Pantry in December. Through our online drive and outdoor winter market, we raised $1365 for the former, and delivered 325lbs of food plus $680 (mostly in the form of grocery gift cards) to our local pantry.
Each instructor here at the studio is committed to providing an environment in support of your health, safety, and well-being at all times. Acknowledge the limitations of my skills and scope of practice and, where appropriate, refer students to seek alternative instruction, advice, treatment or direction.

Kate and all of her teachers are truly remarkable! I have taken classes in Dallas, Denver, Boston, and Montreal and I always come home happily to this bright, peaceful, open studio that overlooks the river. Kate's informed emphasis on safeguarding natural joint alignment is helpful to practitioners both new and experienced.
