Living at Thornberry has been great since we moved in! The front office staff is always so nice and on top of everything and maintenance usually can get your service request done before the end of the day the request was placed and grounds are always well maintained. Just today they passed out Christmas baskets to each apt door! They were wearing elf ears. My son was on the patio watching them. He said "Mommy, look the elfs are helping Santa!" I opened the door and got a snap shot of one of them. He was so quick I almost missed him! So much fun here at Thornberry! We love it!

I moved out of Thornberry last month and for an apartment complex in University the experience exceeded my expectations. Jasmine in the leasing office was my go to girl and was the nicest person ever. The only issue I ever had was the fact that there were security issues. The complex is marketed and advertised as a gated community but that was simply not the case. It is an access gate so there were a lot of people that that did not live there that were not supposed to have access. There were a handful of issues that I encountered as a resident but that was at no fault of the community or leasing

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Thornberry Apartments.
Highlights:
The location is great! It is in a quiet and safe area that is still super close to everything in University City. The light rail is only minutes away and was super convenient for commuting. I-85 is also conveniently nearby while also not being directly on the highway. We also loved that the Mallard creek greenway was so close to the apartments.
The staff at Thornberry is great. The maintenance team was always friendly and always responded quickly to all requests.

It’s nice living here! I enjoy the friendly people and the leasing office! The only thing that I would change is how thin the walls are! My neighbors underneath me I can hear when they are in an argument and that a little annoying. Other then that everything else is great! Oh and fixing the front gate would be nice too.

I lived here for almost 2 years and I can’t think of 1 bad experience I had. Every time I needed something fixed in my apt which was rare someone from maintenance would take care of it asap. All of the ladies in the office were great with any questions I had especially Jasmine I’m definitely going to miss living here.

Lived here for over a year has been great until recently the gate that keeps the apartment closed and secure has been “broken” for months seemingly with no rush to repair it while peoples cars get broken into everyday. And just recently two people were murdered in their apartment so we have decided to move out as soon as our lease is up wish they had fixed the gate right away not we just don’t feel safe at all anymore.

I get scared living alone sometimes but my dog comforts me and I got into a major car crash so I can’t walk her as of right now, but I enjoy staying in my apartment and decorating my inside, porch, etc, as much as I can until I’m fully healed. I also agree that being 19 living here alone isn’t safe , with the gates constantly being open, I also may move when my lease ends. I had $1000 stolen out of my apartment and told the office they need to fix the gates before I went out of town for my birthday and I come back and it’s a double homicide in the building right next to me. I get paranoid

Where to begin. My daughter and her friend were looking to move to NC. They went looking for apartments. After searching apartment and apartment after apartment they were shown a model in this facility. After agreeing to the terms based off the model they were told they were getting a third floor apartment with a fireplace. They were super excited. Last week they were called and told that the apartment that they were supposed to be moving into was destroyed by the last tenant. They were going to be moved to a different apartment on the second floor. So we packed three cars full of her belongings

The community is tight knit, warm, and everyone always says hello. Any maintenance issues I have had, they have fixed quickly and more efficiently than I have ever experienced and have surpassed my expectations 100% of the time. The construction of the apartments are great quality. The two women, Emily and Mindy are excellent, and always go out of their way to correct any issues you may have. Both are always smiling and pleasant. I couldn't ask for anything more. Parking is close to the apartments, ample, and well lit. Walkways are even, and well taken care of. I only wish they had ramps for strollers
