Susanne's Bakery

A nice variety of bakery items: muffins, cakes, cookies from simple to fancy treats. We bought 6 items to try later and my favorite was the white layer cake with cream filling and strawberries. Heavenly!

Had a friend bring me an assortment of pastries and they were amazing! The scones were out of this world.

By far my favorite place to eat in gig harbor! Their Ruben coffee cake is SOOO DELICIOUS and their paninis (which come with a side of pesto pasta!) are amazing!!

The raspberry scones were delicious! A lovely outdoor patio, no views of the harbor though. Coffee was good, mocha was not very chocolatey but good. Lots of people were ordering cakes, their cake orders were already full for the weekend so order far enough in advance.

Great service, good food-pastries are tasty with flavor without being overly sweet. The savory scone was light and fluffy.
The tuna salad sandwich had light mayonnaise with a hint of tang. The bread was fresh.

Quality food and coffee- cannot wait to come back! Came in right before the rush. Got a vanilla oatmilk americano- amazing.

Susanne's has the best egg salad sandwich, bar none! You have a great selection of bread's, pastries, and cookies made on site.

We got 3 different types of muffins (the muffin selection is amazing and it was hard not to pick them all!), a raspberry scone and lattes. The Apple coffee cake muffin was my favorite - the banana nut muffin and morning glory muffin was very tasty as well. The raspberry scone was amazing - it had a layer of raspberry filling which was a unique twist! The ladies working there were super friendly too!

This place really surprised us! Thought it was just a dessert place but as we walked in and saw a menu for sandwiches and salads we stayed and ordered The Mike's Club sandwich and it was so good!! They have a small seating area on the side of the bldg and we sat there. Very nice

Yummy...yummy...yummy. I can't remember the names of what we ate but enough to say they were delicious. A little bummed they were closed Monday and Tuesday but I guess everyone deserves a few days of rest. Great morning spot.

Lovely bakery, fabulous vegan chocolate chip cookie (enormous!), and great veggie sandwich. Would definitely eat there again.

Absolutely incredible banana nut muffin - one of the best my mom and I have ever had. Great crust, very fluffy. Oat milk latte was awesome, my brother said his sandwich had a fantastic crust, and they were very nice! Thank you!

Got there later in the day so only a limited selection. Still good pastries and sandwiches. We did buy the last loaf of their very good French bread. Also, had the grape vine wrapped deck all to ourselves. Recommend going to the bakery/deli earlier in the day.

Try the veggie sandwich it's so juicy and full of flavor you won't miss the meat. The pesto salad is also super yummy

Delicious bakery and yummy lunches as well! Make sure to try their homemade pesto pasta! They also make amazing cakes! I've bought several cakes for birthday parties and never been disappointed!

Went in to try chocolate eclairs which were delicious. Also tried chocolate croissant and americano. All good. Friendly staff and good customer service!

The cake we ordered from here was just okay. The strawberries were so underripe they were mostly white. We begged them to see if they had any riper strawberries and must have insulted them because the woman with short hair rolled her eyes and said it wasn't her fault that the supplier gave them underripe strawberries. Thought that was rude since it wasn't the suppliers fault you put them on a cake. Overall we won't be back and I would not recommend this place.

Staff was not too friendly and food was a bit generic. Touristy part of town seems more like a tourist trap.

Fresh baked pastries and tasty coffee. We've eaten breakfast here every day for the last few and really enjoyed ourselves. Also dog friendly.

While staying near Gig Harbor, I had a hankering for a fresh deli sandwich. Susanne's was just the spot. I got a turkey sandwich. It was made with the freshest ingredients on their homemade wheat bread, which was was really good. I also got one of their homemade banana nut muffins. The muffin was exceptional. I was so happy with this place, I went back two days later.

This place does not follow covid precautions so people might want to know this. I was in there 8/21/20 and one lady working there who looked like the manager was walking back and forth from the kitchen to the front not wearing a mask. The 2 workers at the counter were wearing a mask. You can't see in the back area where food is prepared but I saw at least one person not wearing a mask where food was being prepared. She wasn't trying to hide the fact she wasn't wearing a mask just blatantly being careless. I won't be going back.

This is a cute bakery. The cinnamon rolls were delicious. There is a parking lot for about 4 cars. The service was a little slow for a Saturday morning. Maybe management needs to hire more personnel for the morning rush.

Really great food, staff, and atmosphere. Loved the strawberry rhubarb tart and turkey panini.

This is neat homey little bakery with a lot to offer in sweets and a diverse menu of home goodies to make this the perfect little lunch stop as a through traveler or tourist! The staff here are incredibly firebrand and are very helpful!

This quaint bakery packs a sweet and savory punch! We tried quite a few deserts and lunch dishes and left very satisfied and found some Mmmm good hidden gems!

We've been told the cinnamon rolls were great and I'm sure they are first thing in the morning, but ours was seemed to be chillin out in the case a little too long drying out.
