I went to Patrick's Cafe and Bakery on January 9th to pick up a cake I had ordered online. While Patrick was putting the finishing touches on the cake we were chatting about his business. I was saddened to find out he had to stop serving food due to labor shortages. He said he's now a one-man show and cannot run the restaurant and bake cakes all on his own. So for now he's baking cakes.

For birthdays all of us will request cakes from Patrick's. We've repeatedly had the POG, guava, lillikoi, lemon coconut, and fresh berry. It's our favorite place to order cakes

I knew I had to try Patrick's Cinnamon Roll so I made sure I came right when they opened. Sure enough there were people already in line ahead of me and people were lined up behind me. Super popular Hawaiian bakery in White Center. I love that the cafe still has the structure of a home but runs it like a restaurant. It's obvious Patrick loves what he does and it shows with the food he makes for his customers.

I ordered a chantilly cake for a birthday celebration and it was absolutely fantastic. Perhaps the best tasting cake I've ever had. I will definitely be back to try breakfast/lunch at the cafe sometime soon. The musubis were among the best I've had in Seattle. Friendly, helpful staff and a nice atmosphere inside.

Love the freshly baked goods with a Hawaiian twist from this cafe! I recommend the Haupia cinnamon roll and pumpkin scone (seasonal). The spam musubi (spam & egg) is a delicious and economical choice if you are looking for something quick and easy to eat.

How amazing this place is!! Patrick and his crew were friendly and helpful, and the food was great. I had a croissant BLT, which is freshly prepared, and topped it off with a Pimosa (a mimosa made with passion orange rather than orange) and sat out on the patio on a beautiful sunny morning — the best. I highly recommend this place, and will be going back many times for sure, especially for sunny morning Pimosas hahaha

Patrick's foods are authentically Hawaiian. Although they were very busy, their customer service didn't suffer. We ordered: loco moco, fried rice topped with sunny side up, haupia cake, pumpkin scone, blueberry scone, chocolate chip mac cookie, lilikoi shortbread, haupia cinnamon roll, POG cake, and small pie (name forgotten). The foods reminded me of home cook meals made by my talented aunt. So comforting and delicious! Both dishes were so well seasoned that we didn't need shoyu added. The baked goods are legendary! Perfect sweetness and full of flavors. Thank you for providing

Have you ever had a cake that glimmers?

No glitter or sprinkles - the true essence of a cake that has been made and curated with so much love and expertise.

I was pretty shocked to see how much the cake shined in the afternoon light. The guava nectar drips down and lightly soaks the layers underneath. Unfortunately the cake got distorted a bit for a rocky ride home but the elegance of the cake remains ethereal.

Patrick made me feel like I needed to do better as a human. He is super nice, like truly, and puts so much genuine love in his thank yous for keeping the business going. His full attention

What a gem of a spot! Loved everything we ordered and were so thrilled to get an authentic taste of Hawaii right here in White Center. The shaved ice is not to be missed! Only $5 for a huge bowl (easily enough for 2)!

We got a birthday cake and Patrick's and it was just amazing. All the ingredients were fresh and delicious. Even though they don't make sugar free cakes they went out their way to make the cake not so sugary and it was just perfect because of my partner has diabetes. I really think Patrick's For going out their way to make sure we had a good cake. I really love coming to Patrick's warm welcoming environment very helpful all the employees at work there are just vibrant and nice and. Like I said again thank you so much. Keep up the good work I told everybody and all my family about Patrick so if

We normally order our Hawaiian cakes from
Cakes of Paradise in Georgetown. But my Sister suggested we try Patrick's this time. She says that use real cream on their cakes. I'm glad we did, we loved the guava cake. It was delicious and was very moist. The cream frosting was good also. Patrick's was also cheaper than Cakes of Paradise. Cakes of Paradise offers a 9 inch cake for $48 and a 6 inch for $31 while Patricks has an 8 inch cake $31 and a 6 inch for $22. The only problem is with the West Seattle Bridge being closed. It takes longer to get to White Center from most of the surrounding Seattle

Good food for a decent price. You order at the counter inside, then let them know where you're sitting on the outside patio. I had the Hawaiian breakfast with sausage and potatoes (see photo). Also had a pinapple scone and iced chai latte. The scones are almost biscuit texture (very fluffy for a scone). I would definitely eat here again on a sunny day.
Only negatives:
--Cups of water are miniscule (barely bigger than a dixie cup - I assume because they want you to buy bottles of water instead);
---They use a lot of unnecessary packaging. My friend's poke bowl came in a bunch of separate plastic

Got the haupia cinnamon roll, reg cinnamon roll, and the macadamia cookie. The cookie was absolutely delicious and buttery, and the mac nuts were definitely a requirement. I definitely preferred the haupia vs reg cinnamon roll.

FABULOUS.

We ordered a gluten-free POG cake, which we absolutely loved, for my birthday. This cake was something my wife and older daughter had been looking forward to for a long time, and it did not disappoint. Not only that; the service provided was above and beyond, including the message on the cake that was exactly what we requested

Also note that we had the opportunity to try the (non-gluten-free) pineapple scones, and OMGGGGG. A few minutes in the air fryer and these babies are 100% heaven.

Thank you so much for an amazing experience, Patrick's Cafe and Bakery!

I remember Patrick's Bakery and Cafe way back when by Lake Washington. Took me awhile to get to the current White Center location. Finally ventured there with The Homie back on 1/18/20. I wasn't feeling the warmth from my other experience. Counter service and cuisine was just okay. It was a bit on the messy end of things, probably we arrived after the weekend slam. But coming from the northend, this was a bit of a journey. To get my island vibe and ono grindz, I've continued to venture to other locations in Georgetown and way up in south Everett/north Lynnwood instead.

Tastes like home cooking, clean flavors with lots of love & passion. Everything we’ve had here in the past 3 visits has been on point, or even better than expected. The scones were a winning surprise this time. So good I forgot to take a photo.
Just going to make one suggestion to them - give a spam option for the breakfast sandwich :)
(Online ordering is easy with chownow which I have found to be more accurate than most online ordering sites with actual full menu descriptions, required & optional categories.)

Dakine bakery grindz in a small cafe near the downtown strip. Good service and nice outdoor patio setup for covid and post-covid times.

By the numbers:
Food 5/5
Service: 5/5
Ambiance 5/5
Value 4/5

Breakfast croissant sandwich with bacon - Excellent. Buttery, flaky croissant with a two-egg cheese omelet perfectly done and folded with thick cut bacon. Very satisfying.

Haupia cinnamon roll - Excellent. Chewy dough that's been properly worked with coconut milk-based frosting and toasted mac nut on top brings aloha to every bite.

Wow wow wow. I've found my fave cinnamon roll. This gooey coconut goodness was amazing. Order online is super easy- chill on the free street parking and head in for a pick up. Outdoor seating is available but food is just as good eaten at home. gravy needed more seasoning (spice and flavor) but my partner loved them. Biscuits were flakey though!

Went to Patrick's to pick up some take out today.

I got Portuguese bean soup, one of their lunch specials, and my partner ordered a breakfast burrito. The food is made to order, so we got some chai tea lattes to sip on while we waited. The lovely human who took our order offered to deliver to the car when it was ready. It took less than 10 minutes, which was well worth it. The meals were delicious and tasted homemade (except better because anything I make at home is not even remotely in the same category as Patrick's).

I had been meaning to stop in for awhile. After today, I will

I've only had their delectable goods via Seattle Fish Guys but we LOVE them so much!

Such variety and authentic Hawaiian flavors and combos.

The POG, Guava, Raspberry Guava, Pineapple Coconut, Haupia, and Choc Haupia cake is so flavorful and spot on for taste and pillowy texture and not too sweet. Dobash cake was a new experience and I love to be surprised.

We saw the lilikoi shortbreads and they're also the best shortbreads I've had anywhere! I'm not a shortbread fan but I'll try them for the chance to be wrong and these are worth every penny.

I look forward

Great hawaiian joint in White Center! Its in what almost looks like a house adding to the homestyle feel.

Stuff tried:

Hawaiian breakfast w/ longanisa, egg and rice. I added a side of spam because you cant have hawaiian breakfast without spam!

Kim chee fried rice: healthy serving topped with two eggs! Next time will request spicy!

Biscuits and gravy: nice fluffy biscuit smothered in sausage gravy! Gut bomb! Stick to your ribs stuff.

Very friendly staff! Kudos for the name sake of the establishment chilling out in the lobby greeting customers! I will need to come back and eat here when

This place is in a cute little house. When the weather improves there will be a lot of outdoor seating. Pretty small inside. We got the lumpia bowl and the fried rice. The lumpias were a little burnt tasting but otherwise good. I really liked the fried rice. Just like the kine you can get in Hawaii. We ordered a blueberry scone and cheese danish. I liked both but the danish was more bready and less flakey. Still really good! We will be back to try everything else. The menu sounds good!

Not bad overall. For breakfast I had the Kalua pork with cabbage and rice; well seasoned, full of flavor, and not dry. Unfortunately the picture got lost, but I think this place truly shines with their hot menu items, based on my limited experience.
I brought some pastries back to share; cinnamon bun with coconut, blueberry scone, and pineapple scone. The cinnamon bun with coconut had some great flavor and I was happy that the coconut was not overly sweet. I did think the cinnamon buns were a little overcooked but the scones were very moist.
Service was friendly and the espresso was strong. The
