Coba Yoga
Our purpose is to create a friendly space to share the teachings of Yoga. A peaceful space where men and women of all backgrounds; such as race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, age, nationality, etc. can heal their bodies, calm their minds, find their spirit, feel an internal connection with all beings, find peace in their minds, hearts, homes and ultimately in the world.

What does "Coba" mean? Coba is an ancient spiritual Mayan city in Mexico. Lili Avery; who is starting Coba Yoga is from Mexico and has a strong connection with her ancient roots. She wanted a name for the studio that would bring together her culture and yoga. Our studio has a non-religious and non-cult approach to yoga.

Great atmosphere. There's 20-something's through grandparents and the environment is warm and friendly. Spiritual vibes resound. The child care room is filled with trains and doll houses and books. I really appreciate the instructors there and highly recommend anyone looking for a fun, fit and spiritual yoga experience to check it out.

Very bad. Joined two weeks ago and TWICE the instructor hasn't showed and once she arrived more than 15 minutes late. I drive 20min to get here and have to get a babysitter - not a good way to run a business or treat customers.

I love this yoga studio. The whole building has an excellent flow and the staff are really kind and attentive. Great prices, and great for beginners. The staff take time out with you to get your poses in order so you won't hurt yourself. Things like that really matter!!!

I've had a regular yoga practice for years and when I moved to the area, several people recommended Coba Yoga to be my local yoga studio and they were right, it's fantastic. The schedule includes both morning and evening classes, and the prices are reasonable. Some of my favorite features include childcare; long expiration dates on class packages (which make it much easier to buy a 20 class card knowing it won't expire for a year); quick responses to communication (when i had a question about classes post-hurricane, I received a response within hours) and fantastic teachers.
