This complex is a very great spot especially for first time renters. I had lived in a 1 bedroom townhome and would like to share the following experiences I've had leasing here:
Appliances are a bit dated but EXTREMELY reliable.
It gets hot upstairs in the summertime so I suggest purchasing a fan if you want to keep your electric bill down.
The entrance when you first walk in is VERY narrow and is awkward to move furniture in and out, so I recommend having detailed measurements for bulky items (couch, washer, dryer).
The laundry building on site is convenient because you can pay through your

I have been living at the Lakes since 2001. I really enjoy being a resident here. The ladies at the office are always very friendly, and I never feel as if I am being a nuisance if I need ANYTHING done. The maintenance team has always been quick to fix anything that needs fixing, and I have developed strong friendships with them. I give The Lakes a 5 star rating for these reasons, and many others which I don't have enough room here to express.....a very, very nice place to live. Went and toured The Lakes (ended up moving in with family instead) and the Leasing Agent Mahaley was amazing! She was very thorough when we went over the floor plans, costs, and all the different amenities they offer and what is all nearby to do and see! All the people in the office was very nice and very welcoming! Anyone would be lucky to be able to live on this property and have so many positive people in the office! I’ve lived in some complexes that didn’t have the most welcoming office staff which made it not feel like home, when I leave loving with family The Lakes would be the first

Moved into a newly renovated townhouse for my first apartment, and I absolutely love it! The front office staff are super friendly and helpful—they always follow up and make sure we have everything we need to have a positive experience. Maintenance is on top of their game and have taken care of our request within a matter of days. Definitely going to stay for awhile!

I live here for several years. The staffs are friendly specially the beautiful young lady names BEE. Whenever I need maintenance or something I stop by or call the office and talked to BEE. She’s smart, kind and she really care about the tenants. So much appreciated. They are always friendly and it is authentic. Love it here.

We have lived here at The Lakes for 10 yrs. When we first moved here, it was run by a different management. The tenants were sketchy, the playground was in dire need of repair, and security was almost non existent. Since new management has taken over the property has really taken a turn for the better. A new playground has been installed, nightly… security drive bys, new paint job on all of the buildings, and just recently new security cameras. We also had a recent flood and our floors were replaced quickly and beautifully. Another bonus to living here is it is located in the Jenks School

No I will not. Very displeased with the amount of crime and the lack of seriousness The staff takes on the matter. My first week here my water heater was leaking. I lived with it leaking that whole week.… Carpets pulled up and bowls on the floor, I understand these are older apartments but if I am paying for something then I expect it to be everything you’ve advertised and told me, this is not the part that is the biggest problem . They did get that fixed. PSA!!!!!! IF YOU LIVE AT THE LAKES THIS IS HAPPENING! Now my truck has been broke into twice in the last 2 months by the Irish
