We would like to express our appreciation for all the years living here. I have created many memorable experiences, from watching nature on beautiful lake unfold right in the morning break. Constantly having make ready crew walking to your apartment (4 times) ,mice, roaches, can never get anybody in the office. Water has continuously been out with no notice. If you're looking for a ghetto apartment, within lazy staff this is the place to go. and they've also towed a disabled vet with handicap tags that was parked in the handicap spot , and was told because they can. Run run as fast as you can away from this ghetto dump.

Hmmmm, the drainage is not good here, even regular thunderstorms. You have to put sandbags around your door... lol Neighbors are interesting, pot smell all over the place. Management is very sketchy, I was supposed to be billed $350, fees, and they tack on a extra $2300 for nothing...... scallywags indeed. Complex was built in 1977.... very old complex. Move in at your own risk....

I live here since 2019 and the only thing that I can say is " this place is amazing "they have very good prices...I meant if you compare with the buildings around this area is cheap but nothing compare with the wonderful view of this place have"the staff is very nice specially miss celeste and joshua,miss celeste always are very attentive with my necessities also they have new maintenance man who is a very very professional guy,you call for some issues and they send this guy and fix the problem faster.I really love this place you have everything here,also your own laundry inside and the pleasure

July 2019 we moved to Encore on the Bay...We absolutely love this place! When we sold our home in July, we decided we would want to live by the water and this place is just perfect! We love the Courtyard style apartments... The pool is right on the water and the awesome private fishing pier that we have to catch a little fish action🌞
Recently they have made several improvements to the property! I knew it was a win win when they had repainted the whole property in my favorite color turquoise! They also just had the whole parking lot resurfaced And repairs made to our own little boardwalk.

-cockroaches.
-fleas
-unsupervised children that scream and swear till 11pm
-domestic violence and regular police calls.
-HORRENDOUS guest parking. There are about 5 spots per BUILDING.
-very outdated for what you pay for.
-outside smells like pee, weed, and cigarettes.
-maintenance crew do not wear masks, take forever to attend to your needs, and then 1/2 fix the problem.

Corporate has made so many of the residents unhappy. There is incredibly low guest parking, a roach problem, and dog feces. The police are called here often for different issues. Despite society opening back up, the pool and gym are not opened (doubt they would be properly cleaned any way). They failed their last pool inspection and it's basically the highlight of the complex. The bathrooms peel, the walls are thin, and the place is over priced for how not-updated the place is. They never answer your calls so good luck trying to get anything handled.

This place is atrocious and it's corporates fault. It's very dirty, it smells like cigarettes, and people are very loud here. The windows are very see through and you don't get a lot of privacy. The parking instructions are very unclear. The maintenance is incredibly slow IF they even fix the problems at all. I don't recommend leasing here.
Oh and my favorite part are the cockroaches everywhere!
If I could give this places below a 1 star rating, I would.
Also, they failed their last pool inspection too.... so if it ever gets reopened I wouldn't recommend swimming in

We have lived here almost three years now, and a couple of days ago we had an air conditioning issue and they gave us a window unit and fixed it as fast as the could and always gave us a card telling us thank you for being patient and understand. The new maintenance man that started I forgot his name but he was so sweet the whole time he was here he kept telling me sorry! Thank you guys for fixing our air conditioning as fast as y’all could!

Positive - Looks good on the outside. The paint covers up the age of the complex. There are some wonderful people that live here.

Negative-There is a terrible drug problem at the complex. Management handled it by sending out flyers. That was it! Obviously the flyers didn't change anything and the drug presence is still horrible!
During the whole COVID 19 time, loud parties all the time with no help for those that still had to work!

This place has gone downhill. 2 years ago it was nice. The management company ran a tight ship. This new company, Westdale, is the worst. The office manager at the apartments is terrible too. Nobody knows how to do anything. Joe, the head maintenance, the only person who knows anything. The boardwalk may look great in a picture but the birds are all rotting and popping up and they say they don't have to fix them. So you're risking your life by walking on it. They let anyone move in. Drug addicts galore. People die from drug overdoses in here. They let loud people move in, as in they can

Cons... repairs and updates are poor quality, dogs owners don't cleanup poos, parking shortage, constantly flooding on 1st floor units.

Watch the bait and switch shenanigans two days before move in... AND inspect everything and don't schedule move in or pay until its all corrected. I had to take a pricey two bedroom as my unit was rented out underneath me.

Save yourself the headache and keep looking. You don't want to live here. Here's some reasons why.... so they say they are dog friendly, but NOPE. If your dog barks because people come down the stairs like a herd of elephants, or better yet, move out and drag every heavy item down the stairs, hitting each one along the way, the leasing office doesn't care about that noise. But when you dog barks at all that noise, you're in lease violation. And let's address the dog feces left in the middle of the walkways. That's super fun. Then there's the constant loud people

I honestly believe this one star solely goes to the location and the view of this complex. Everything else is pretty horrible. Firstly, mold is a HUGE problem for literally everyone who lives there!! My allergies were so horrible from the mold I could barely breathe, not only that but I have asthma so the mold triggered that as well. I was sick 24/7 living here :( luckily we are moved out now. Roaches are also a major issue, they are literally everywhere, pest control hasn't been working. Multiple people have complained about multiple problems with management/maintenance. I've lived here for a year now and I just renewed my lease. The apartment is not perfect but it is affordable and a pretty quiet place to live. I've had no problems with security issues or anything like that. Mantinance is pretty quick to get problems taken care of. The complex was just bought out by a new company that is making major improvements to the units including newer countertops, stainless steel appliances in some units also wood plank floors. Misty, Kierstahn, Hannah and Ashleigh were SO helpful with my move in. They answered all of my questions and made the process so easy

Been here a year and a half, and I've hit the last straw. Time to move to a place that doesn't extort money from residents via questionable towing practices. My experience? A friend is in town visiting from Florida, borrowing her parents car, and 45 minutes in to our conversation I said "did you park in visitor parking?" This was at 8 pm on a Monday. No she didn't, so we went outside to move the car to an appropriate guest spot. And it was gone. 0 guests spots available in the entire complex, and 56 reserved spots available. Yet she got towed. $285 in the pocket of Action Towing and Misty. Thanks

It looks like the new management company has hired a reputation consultant to plug positive reviews. After my experience living at Encore on the Bay and communicating with other tenants (both who remain residents and those who have relocated), the recent influx of sunny reviews seem a little suspicious.
The management team, both previous and current, are incapable of keeping track of paperwork. Lease terms and property availability (storage, appliances, etc.) are misrepresented in what seems to be an attempt to get prospective tenants to sign a lease.

We lived here almost 2 years. For the past couple of months we experience a bad roach problem. Today I had two in my bed crawling down my arm. I spent the whole night with the lights on and making sure they will not be in my babies crib. Apartments offered a spray which will take about a month to get them out. All we want to do is to move from that place and we only have a couple of months left in the apartment. Do not move here !!!!
Also, we have restrooms clogged once in a couple of weeks and a/c leaked , so right now we have a horrible smell inside. There are pictures Attached

This place is absolutely horrid. They'll take you through and you'll see the great view from your future bedroom and will want to sign immediately, but that's the only good thing about it. The other residents are pure trash and the staff is completely unprofessional.
