Sid has been an active full-time agent/broker marketing and managing property in the Maryland/DC area since 1986. Prior to establishing Menkis Real Estate in 1999, Sid worked with three local brokers, a national relocation company, and a regional commercial real estate brokerage firm.
During this time he developed extensive knowledge and exposure to all aspects of the real estate industry including residential and commercial sales, and leasing and management.Sid has served on the Board of Directors for the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors (GCAAR). He has served as chair on the Public Policy committee with GCAAR and as a member of the Property Management committee.

Sid is a slumlord who refuse to fix apartment. He will use illegal labor and all shortcuts in order to save money. He will take your security deposit money at the end without informing you of what is going on. He is clearly very unethical and a slumlord.
I rented with this man for 2 years and time after time, he refuse to fix things in a timely manner. He asked me to pay 50/50 to installing an icemaker which is common equipment. He is truly a low class person.

Excellent landlord and management company. In the 2+ years we've lived in the house in Takoma Park managed by Menkis Real Estate, we've not had a single issue that Sid wasn't immediately responsive to. Very kind office staff as well, the few times I've spoken with someone other than Sid. Rent can be paid and work orders placed on Menkis' website, very convenient.
Note, per the review below: An ice-maker is NOT a common household appliance. Get a dang ice-cube tray.
