Dr. Cornejo earned her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in 2003, then her PsyD. in psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in 2009, followed by a postdoctoral placement at Kaiser of Pleasanton in 2010.

The first step in the assessment process is consulting with the patient to find out what they wish to learn from the evaluation. With this information, and after obtaining a comprehensive history of the patient, Dr. Cornejo is able to begin the psychological testing process. Psychological tests are used to assess a variety of mental abilities and attributes, including achievement and ability, personality, and neurological functioning.
Dr. Cornejo is a licensed California Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) and specializes in the analysis of complex issues regarding industrial causation of psychiatric injuries. Such issues include but are not limited to: anxiety, depression and post traumatic stress disorder.
