It would be nice if they were to lower the rent for a few months due to the fact that we're in a pandemic and the whole school district is remote. Lots of parents are home with the kids and working less. The slumlords have actually increased the rent for next year! They have no compassion and don't care about their tenants. Their maintenance are also very rude at times. These apartments are not worth the price!

Kirsten Powers is a terrible property manager. She is totally unprofessional and rude. She made me and my friends feel completely attacked and was hostile during our entire encounter. If the is the kind of the employee this business employs in all of its properties do not rent here!!
I only gave 1 star because giving negative stars isn’t an option.

I had the amazing opportunity to meet Kirsten Powers. She was nice enough to come over personally and explain rules of the lease to my friend. She was nice enough to explain to my friend, after we had been at her apartment for 30 mins at 2:00pm and we were smoking a cigar on the porch, that she could evict my friend for letting us smoke on the porch. I understand that this a rule, unfortunately she forgot this rule, and we broke it, however; threatening a single mother with eviction for this is a down right abomination. She then also reveled that she has nothing better to do but watch us carrying

Worst experience I have ever had! Absolutely stay away. I caught 8 mice in my unit in a year. They sent staff to take care of it but nothing was taken care of. They just left a few traps and did not even follow up. I had the worst year of my life. Found dead mice in the apartment multiple times, woke up to crying mice that got stuck in the trap in the middle of the night, saw them walking around the kitchen area. Absolutely horrible!!! In addition to all of these, I was told that it's pretty normal to have mice in apartments in the winter in NE. I regret to this day for not suing this company

We moved to their River Crossing Property 3 years ago and it was nice and quiet. There has been a bunch of changes in the management and the things we loved about the flexibility of the community changed and the things that made us love the place has quickly frustrated us. I was out of town and unable to return during the snow removal, I had not received an email stating snow removal would be Monday morning and my car was towed. I had gone out of town with potential snow storms in the forecast in the past without any issues, I did the exact same thing as those prior instances and this time it was

Holding Deposit $500 will not get back if you don't rent. Wish I knew better. Don't put down deposit unless your 150% certain you'll live there. Won't get money back under any circumstances.
Lesson learned I guess

Listen to all the one star reviews and avoid heritage properties like the plague. Lived in one of their buildings for 20 months and it was horrible. People are trashy, management is useless and super cheap. They refused to fix the lock on the side door for months after it was broken and didn't lock. Avoid this dump like the plague.

If i could give this place less than 1 I would. I applied for an apartment and gave them $500 of my hard earned money as a deposit when I contacted them 3 days later to say I was going with other place and wanted the deposit back they said sorry you cant have your money back. I was shocked to say the least. I was at this point made aware that I had 48 hours from the time of approval to make a choice. So I had 2 very short days to decide which would have a better school zone for my child, which is a better neighborhood and so on, on top of that i was in the middle of planning and executing a birthday

WORST place I have ever lived. The maintenace people are so unhelpful. The walls are so thin you can hear the neighbor sneeze, snore, etc. They are constantly inventing new ways to take a ridiculous amount of money from you and have no parking for guests. But don't try to get out of your lease early because you will get yourself 5k in the hole. I will never rent from heritage properties again. My lease being over will be the best thing to ever happen to me!

We are now on or near our tenth day of no water to extremely low pressure. Unable to bath, brush teeth at times and no water for cooking. I believe it's time to call Health Dept.

I moved here from a previous "less than favorable" apartment from a different property group.

The leasing office was fabulous in getting me into an apartment that suited my needs! I worked with Christina Tompkins. Christina cares about her residents, is a hard worker, and is nothing short of amazing.

Snow removal here is taken care of. Any needs or concerns that I have had are immediately and professionally taken care of. I had an issue with my heat in the winter, and a gentleman from maintenance was here in less than fifteen minutes to fix the issue.
