Seymour Levine, Owner Seymour has been performing home inspections for over 15 years. Very frequently during his home inspections, Seymour would discover mold in attics, basements and crawlspaces. When buyers and sellers could not find anyone to mitigate the mold, the deal would fall apart. Seymour decided to get certified in Mold Remediation and Radon Mitigation.
2. After the home inspection is completed, you and your realtor will go over the inspectors recommendations and do a "reply to inspection". On the reply, typically you will request that the seller fix any MAJOR defects or SIGNIFICANT safety concerns. Or you may choose to make the repairs yourself after you take possession of the home.
Radon is a colorless, odorless, tasteless, and chemically inert, cancer- causing radioactive gas. It is formed by the natural radioactive decay of uranium in rock, soil, and water. You cannot see, smell or taste radon, but it may be a problem in your home. The Surgeon General has warned that radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the United States today.
If we inspect your home and you are not 100% satisfied with the quality and thoroughness of your inspection- you pay absolutely NOTHING for the inspection, and we will pay to have another inspector perform a new inspection.
