We stayed at one of Carolina Beach properties for a few days on our vacation and overall it was great! The rental company staff communicated well and was friendly.
The location of the property was unbeatable - it was waterfront and you were literally 30 steps away from the beach. The ocean views were fantastic (see the attached photos) and you could hear waves rushing to the shore all day long. There's also a balcony with a table and chairs where you could enjoy breakfasts or dinners and stare at the Atlantic Ocean.
The unit itself was big and was 50/50 updated. The living room was pretty

We rented a large home from them (501 Ave K, Kure Beach).Contacted this agency days after departure to let them know there were items that need to be returned. After 17 days, the mailing store contacted us to let us know the package was given to them on day 14 (Friday afternoon before they closed for the weekend) to be sent to us. Fourteen days! We are responsible for shipping costs. ($35.00)
The items will not be shipped in time for the next adventure in Hawaii. I have to repurchase swimming suits. (not cheap)

There were beer cans under tables, used red solo cups, comforters were disgusting (possibly blood), the grill and dishes were horrible, the pull out bed was unsleepable, they bought us new comforters but didn't put them on, halfway cleaned grill, it felt sticky in the home...I was hoping after a certain amount of time they would compensate us for our inconveniences, but they didn't or haven't)ohhhh and the trash was not us that was, it was the people before us should have been our clue when we pulled up.

This property at 613 Carolina Beach Ave., for which we paid almost $3,000 for a month's stay, was a bad joke played on us. From the moment we opened the door to the building and saw the filthy carpet and gray walls of the interior stairs, we wanted to turn around. Over the course of a month we found : roaches, burned out light fixtures, no ice cube trays ( we were told to go to dollar store and buy some), no beach chairs ( we were told to go to dollar store and buy some), a flashlight with no bulbs, candles but no matches, two burned out wall out lets, a microwave that had to be replaced

Everytime I go to Carolina or Kure Beach, I always rent my vacation rental from Palm Air Realty. We love staying at the historic cottages on site when we fish in the fall. You can just roll your fishing cart to the pier that is not even a block down the road ! I love the selection of oceanfront rentals they have ! They were perfect for our family when we visited the area last summer.

We stayed in one of their properties on Carolina Beach for Christmas. The property was exactly what we were hoping for. They were very responsive in answering any questions that I had. The property was very well maintained and right on the beach. I would definitely stay there again or in one of their other properties.

I had a horrible experience with the company!!!!!!!Beware of their online booking. My husband and I were so excited to finally book a vacation after recently having our daughter. A few days after we booked, the owner called and said that they double booked the condo. They gave our condo to someone else. I'm assuming that person was staying longer or maybe some other type of bias was involved. There were no other condos available like the one we booked. We had to cancel our trip.

Palm Air Realty is very affordable, clean, has friendly staff and a great location. I had no complaints at all. The cottage was decorated very nicely with beach themes throughout. Smooth Sailing cottage was a great fit for our family of 4 adults and 3 kids. It was dog friendly and everyone (including our fur babies) had an amazing stay! I would and have recommended them for future reservations! Thanks for everything and making our stay away from home feel like home!

Prices are perfect for a low budget family looking for a nice relaxing time away from home with a great ocean view, pool, privacy, off street parking, porch, grills, and more! 10/10 reccomend! My family stayed at cottage 3 ships ahoy. It looked exactly like the pictures and was perfect for our family. We didn't get to stay our entire time due to a death in the family so we arrived a few days late they were so nice and even hugged me. I highly recommend this place for a family vacation or even a couples getaway.

Worked with these people for leasing. Gave them a few chances after being pushy , unprofessional and just not kind. Hardly rented our place out. Went with a new company a year ago and our place was rented out every weekend this season. Sorry. Only fair to write this review after seeing how poorly we were treated by them.

This was our first time booking with Palm Air. Everyone was very nice over the phone and in person. They had the wrong information under our reservation and the instructions were a little confusing but that's ok. We stayed in a 3 bedroom duplex for the weekend that included a golf cart, which was very useful. The few suggestions I have is to provide guests with more than one small towel per room, and more than one roll of toilet paper, the only tv that works is in the living room and it's by an old antenna hanging loosely in the window. The bathtub has no stopper so cannot take a bath

I have been renting homes in Kure Beach for the last 5 years. We tried a "luxury" listing this year Sea2sky the 3rd week of July. I had no problem with Palm Air, but the home should not be listed as luxury. It is clearly a rental only property with no pride of ownership. While we enjoyed the pool very much, the house needed some updates and repairs. The decking was splintered with nails sticking up in multiple places, the bathroom grout was crumbling, faucets loose, shower curtain kept falling off, carpets stained, stove had layers of food built up, etc. For $8000 for the week, plus

Nightmare on Snapper Lane. These people are the worst I have ever encountered. We rented a 4 bedroom 1/2 house that cost us $3500.00 for the week. We could never get the T.V. to work correctly. There are three controls and no instructions on how to use it. The following Monday we called the office to report the T.V. and a broken microwave and were told the part owner would come out and talk to us. This woman named Anne showed up a half hour later. We have been staying at Palm Air's accommodations for years and we love it. They hosted a retreat for some LGBTQ organizing a few years back and we have been loyal ever since. It is such an easy drive from Durham and we are always greeted like old friends.
The accommodations are simple, but always clean and have what we need. Super close to the beach and all our favorite restaurants (Beach House Burgers, Kure Beach diner, Surf House and heck, tasty freeze makes some pretty darn good pizza).
We love Kure beach and we love Palm Air!

We've stayed with Anne and Ea for the past decade and keep coming back. Their rentals are clean, comfortable and a great value. We couldn't imagine staying anywhere else.

Anne is WONDERFUL! She is gracious, kind, and understanding. She got me in on Labor Day weekend to the cutest little bungalow at the very last minute. She went on to recommend places to eat and tell me all about the little details that I needed to know to truly enjoy my time there. It was quiet, clean, comfortable and best of all available on a moments notice. I'm sure that's not always the case but it was this time and boy was I thankful. I will NEVER stay at any Palm Air Realty rentals again! Not only are the owner and her assistant rude, arrogant, condescending and unprofessional, they have significantly increased their prices on old, outdated rentals with zero updates!They should be ashamed for their bad attitudes toward customers! After all, the CUSTOMERS are the ones who keep them in business! No respect.....ESPECIALLY RETURNING CUSTOMERS!

Apparently the owner got mad because I called her out on the website not having certain extra fees listed! As I read their website I laughed because it is deceiving as well. They could care less about customers as their customer service is lacking! I wish I had gotten the ladies name I spoke with but she was loud, obnoxious, and she is obviously not originally from the south! I was refunded my money but was then told "Not to ever call them again." My friends and I rented a condo from Palm Air (not at this location but at the Salty Hammocks location-Unit 10). We stayed two nights in a 2 bedroom 2 bath place that slept 6 during 4th of July weekend.
The place was reasonably priced, fairly clean upon arrival, and had a beach view from one of the decks. The furnishings and decor were more up-to-date than most of the other rentals I found online while looking for a place. It's not luxury by any means, but it is cute and comfortable without looking really dated. The kitchen could use an update though as it looks like it was last redone
