I cant say it was clean. The master shower doors had a bunch of mold on them. The couch and chair looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed. It was dog available but a good vaccuming would have helped. I tried but the vaccum in the condo wasnt very good. Not enough glasses and there were chips on the plates.
The bed was very comfortable. The closet space was bad. Guest room closet was about 8 inches deep no area for hanging up clothes. AND no dresser
The view from the deck could not be beat. Sitting out there having coffee watching the sunrise was wonderful and helped with the condo disappointments

We loved everything! Making the reservation was a breeze. Everyone was so helpful. Updated me regularly via email and text. Check in was very easy and they had packet ready for us filled with information about the condo and everything Carolina Beach had to offer.

Found that I saved significant money renting directly from Carolina Retreats rather than going through VRBO. Our group enjoyed our stay immensely. Access to the beach was wonderful from our oceanfront rental, Birds Eye View. The walk to the beach was pleasant even for those older in our group. We had several issues with the house; two of which could not be resolved (the washing machine and the hot tub).
We were satisfied with how Carolina Retreats resolved the issues.
This was our first time going to Topsail Beach (usually go to Nags Head area) and plan on returning and using Carolina Retreats

Enjoyed working with Carolina Retreats; Jacob was very helpful prior to and after our arrival.
We love the Kure Beach, Ocean Dunes, area - it’s always so quiet and relaxing. Our condo was very nicely decorated and equipped. Last year we were lucky enough to see sea turtles hatching and this year we were able to watch the meteor shower as the sky is always so full of stars. A short drive gets you to the pier or boardwalk, and Walmart and shops are just a short drive away
My concerns would be the cleanliness of our unit, especially with COVID still being an issue. It was clean, but it was obvious

Our experience with Carolina Beach Rentals was phenomenal! A family trip for my parents and siblings/spouses really needed to be a special treat and a home that we would all feel comfortable for the week. My questions were answered quickly, courteously and even given additional information for our stay(rentals, restaurants etc). The property we stayed in was extremely clean and stocked for a family to enjoy dining in-grilling or just hanging out after a day at the beach. Thank you!!!

Pelican watch 206 ,you can tell its an extremely rented, tired, and used unit. The beds were terribly uncomfortable and so was the furniture in the unit
It was difficult to eat in as the kitchen utensils and pots/pans were few and what was there needs to be replaced
I'm not one to complain but I was really looking forward to this week off and while I don't spend a lot of time in the unit on vacation I enjoy having a comfortable place to sleep and make a meal each day to help not eat out so much. In the future ,ill make sure to rent where I can see reviews or stick to hotels that are known for

The house was absolutely beautiful although for the price that we paid per night we would’ve thought there would’ve been some extra items such as dish soap and soap for the bathrooms we ended up having to go out and buy soap. Also the Netflix in the main room and the bedroom we could not get it to work and we called and was told it should work and there was no follow up. I was also disappointed that the hot tub was not working. On a positive note the person that called us and made sure we were at the house and had the code was extremely nice and professional.

I was really hesitant about this rental after reading a bad review. I called and was reassured everything was fixed. I bit the bullet and booked it. Was glad I did. The location could not have been any better. We hardly used the vehicle in town. We walked everywhere.
Now Carolina Retreats was awesome!! Very helpful!! A true pleasure working with them. Lindsey made booking easy. Jacob put me at ease the day before arrival.
We did have some issues with the door but we figured it out. Once you do the complete code you have to push the door for it to open, sometimes with force.

The location was great BUT the condo needed attention regarding cleaning. The following items need to be addressed.
The couch is stained plus the throw pillows have large stains.
The area rug needs a good vacuuming.
We pulled out pans, plates, flatware and plates that had visible food on them (supplying dishwasher tabs would eliminate this).
The mattresses were comfortable, however, them mattress cover in the master had large stains on it and we placed a flat sheet plus a fitted sheet over it.
We paid $1400 fir the week and expected a clean condo with decent deck furniture. The deck has 4
