Built in 1921, the Wilmington Magnolia House is a classic Colonial residence located in the Carolina Heights neighborhood in downtown Wilmington, North Carolina. Carolina Heights was developed in the early 1900s as a subdivision that would have modern conveniences such as electric lines, water lines and gas.
We have accomodated brides, grooms and their families at the Magnolia House for over 10 years. We understand how special your wedding week is, and how important it is to find the perfect location to comfortably and economically house your traveling family and guests. Let us welcome you to our large and private home where everyone has a comfortable bed and bathroom.
When we purchased the property in 2003, it was already a fully operation Bed & Breakfast. We were thrilled to be re-entering the Hospitality business after some time off. With a degree in Hospitality Administration and years of training in some of finest hotels including The St. Regis in NYC, it was our dream to have a property of our own.
We spent 5 days in this lovely property with a few family members on the occasion of our wedding. We were pleased by a lot of aspects of this rental. The first impression was more than positive : excellent communication with the owner and her manager. When we arrived, we were very impressed with the cleanliness of the house, considering it's huge and old.
