I moved in Dec 2019….this place is dangerous, dirty
Along with the most unprofessional staff
I witnessed a break in, men climbing down side of Bldg.
I was out with my dog and we found a dead body out backyard ANYTHING in this review can be verify w/NLPD.
I was attacked by my neighbors unvaccinated pit bull.
management allowed the dog back into apartment.
06/18/21 while I was out of town, my apartment caught on fire and lost everything. I was told NO apartments available and to look for apt…..so they left me homeless during pandemic, I was unemployed at time of fire due to pandemic and

Not a bad place to call home. The maintenance people respond quickly. The snowplowing company they have are not that bad. Had called maintenance for a new problem they responded within a half hour the gentleman that came to my apartment was knowledgeable about my situation had it fixed within one hour of my call can't ask for better people

So I will say the agent I met was polite and showed me around. Because of him, this is a two star review instead of a 1 star review. After I applied and paid for the deposit, which was on a Saturday, I was told I had to get my cat vaccinated for rabies even though she is 100% indoor cat only. I checked around my area. Getting her to a clinic was a pain and would take weeks, and frankly I was second guessing how great a deal this place was going to be, including the square footage of the place for the price. I asked for my deposit back and was told because 72 hours had passed they weren’t going

It was going to be a pain to try to get my cat vaccinated before moving in. I asked for my deposit back, but because it was over 72 hours, it was a no go. They offered to transfer it to another place, but won’t refund it. Don’t put money down unless you are 100% certain you are going to live here. All the extra fees, and after reading the reviews… on Yelp and google, I can tell this type of treatment is similar to what others experience. I’ve never had such a terrible interaction with a rental place but also never had such a terrible gut feeling after putting a deposit

You will never pay more per square foot or be charged for more little random things than at this place. If you have a pet, just look elsewhere. And don't put money down unless you are 100% sure you want to move in. Otherwise they will come up with every reason they can not to refund it. I will say the guy that showed me around was polite, professional, and responsive. He is the only reason they have 2 stars instead of 1.

I have lived here for almost 3 years and have loved it! As a recent graduate from Mitchell, it was very close to campus which made it a plus for me while I was a student. The staff is super friendly and willing to help and answer any questions. Would definitely recommend for any Mitchell student looking to live off campus.

People steal your packages and they don't do anything about it. your neighbors will bug out if you listen to music or have a kid who plays or anything even during non quiet hours. the windows leak. you can't walk around or take your kid outside without stepping in dog sh*t. Definitely not worth the amount per month.

Maddy gave me a tour on Saturday. I am impressed with her professionalism and overall knowledge of the property. She answered many of my questions even before I could ask them. The unit I saw is just wonderful. It is spacious and very well done. I am very seriously considering a move to the Villages at Shore Landing.

I took a tour of a studio apartment and the surrounding area with Sam today. Sam was super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The grounds are lovely and the amenities such as the gym, pool, and laundry mat are something I was looking for in a new apartment. I certainly look forward to hearing back after submitting my application here!

Initially, I was finding the process a little daunting but I’m happy to say that it ended up working out well. Sam was so helpful and personable. She continually followed up with me and made the process smooth and easy as possible. It’s comforting to know, especially during these difficult times- especially in the rental market- there are folks out there who will work with you and make things a little easier.
I would definitely recommend Shore Landing.

Hi, I have been living at Shore Landings for a little over a year and it has been very pleasant. Long story short Sam (one of the employees) helped me find the unit for me. She was helpful, explained everything very well and was welcoming. The only problem I had (with my hot water heater) was taken care of the next day. Other than that it is surprising quite most of the time and a nice place to live.

I toured the area and a model with Maddy, one of the staff members. She was amazing - knowledgeable, enthusiastic, kind, respectful and professional. It has so many amenities: pool, fitness center, mini-laundromats throughout the various buildings and a dog park! Plus, it's only 1.5 miles from Ocean Beach.I love the fact that staff is on hand 24/7.

The villages at shore landings was my first choice of apartments. I saw the listing on and looked through all the picture and was amazed. Sam was an amazing help. She was very informational on the apartments and the community. When we did the tour I fell in love with the studio ! I highly recommend submitting an application. Here’s to my first apartment! This is a really hard place to rate. I want to start off by saying that I was not the worlds most perfect tenant, and I am not claiming to be. I did have a few puppies while living here that made a mess of the apartment, however I was willing to pay for damages and I will go more into that further down.
On one hand I want to give this place a good rating because it's in a super convenient location (Mitchell College is 2 minutes away), they have a pool, a workout room, and a dog park. It was the only place I could find to give me a lease , as they don't check credit but prior rental

Do not move here. I lived here for six months when my neighbor across the hall tried to break in my apartment, completely naked, at one in the morning. Called the cops, who only talked to the gentleman, no charges were filed (still don't know how that works). I went to the next office first thing next morning and asked to be let out of my lease. I was informed, however, that I would have to pay a $3,000 buyout fee. I don't know about you, but I don't exactly have that kind of money laying around. I obviously did not want to stay in the apartment with my neighbor still living right

Wow what can i say. stayed 3 years, first year, constant rattling of the radiators, no way to turn off unless you can live without heat (hint: you cant). 2nd year, they jack our rate since they cant honor the fact that they put us in the wrong apartment to begin with. third year in, we get a pipe leak, forced to vacate post haste & dont pay any of our moving costs. total nightmare. now we in our new place & its niagara falls in our backyard when it rains. look elsewhere for better rates, modern buildings, and rational landlords. making your residents happy should be #1, hope this review

I love my spacious two bedroom apartment at the top of the hill. There are windows in every room and the apartment is nice and bright. I made some enhancements at my own expense: additional shelves in the closets for more storage, installation of under the stove hood microwave to free up counter space, brought my own new stainless steel refrigerator, and painted the rooms with colors other than white.
I was disappointed they did not replace the carpet when I moved in. There were brown stains which I covered with a large area rug in the living room. Last year I developed an allergy to dust
