Services
Move Dance and Fitness is a family-owned dance studio. The Marion family started the studio in early 2013 with 2 students and 2 toddlers of their own. The focus of the studio was to create a family-centered dance studio and a second home for students, where they could feel loved, inspired, and express themselves in a healthy way.
A creative movement class for 2-3 year olds designed to enhance gross motor development, listening skills, musicality, and nurture the creative spirit. Jazz dance is a style that has throughout its history developed with popular music. Jazz is typically done to an up tempo song making the class more appealing to kids who want to learn something while still getting to move a lot.
Feel free to stop by our dance studio at 1819 First Oaks St. #200 (Off FM 723) Monday thru Friday from 3:30pm-8pm or on Saturday from 9am-2pm to register for dance classes. 5-day camp During this camp, we will learn about theatre, musical theatre specifically, and what it is like to be an actor. And then for some super duper fun, we will have a full performance for our friends and family to come and enjoy on Friday. Every single day of your little one's childhood is important but, as parents, you know that there is one day of the year that really "takes the cake".
MDC's are groups of dedicated Move Dance and Fitness' dancers who rehearse, perform/compete and have community together. Move Dance Companies, compete/perform in jazz, contemporary, tap, musical theatre, hip-hop, and open categories. The Companies are chosen by a panel of judges who group the dancers based on technique, potential, and stage presence (taking age into consideration).

MDF is just the best! They have built a beautiful, supportive space for pre-professional dancers and recreational dancers alike. They take care of not only their dancers, but their dancers’ families as well (free camps for siblings, flexibility, excellent customer service, premium performance venues, etc.). Walk through the doors and you’ll experience a safe and joyful environment committed to creative excellence. We LOVE this place!!! (It should also be publicly noted that Miss Leslie is magical, and so is the Marion family).

Summer Dance Camp days were such a blessing for myself and my three year old! We just started with MDF, but immediately felt welcomed and loved. The staff is so kind and you can just tell they love their jobs. My daughter is really enjoying her ballet class and again the addition of the extra camps during summer + holidays is a HUGE WIN ❤️

Our son was very excited about his class contemporary with Ms. Brittani every week. We were a little concerned to have it virtually because maybe he would not click or concentrate, but it was not like that. The teacher was excellent and full of energy. She is an amazing teacher and dancer. My son said that how she just can listen to the song and make her moves hehehe. We found Move as an extension of home. Thank you.

Marcello is so kind and Leslie has become a household name! Our daughter just loves her "Ballet Teacher" !! To Mr. Julien and the Move Dance Family, Thank you guys for working through Covid. MOVE Dance and Fitness is a great place to learn to dance! Dancers of all levels feel comfortable here with the amazing and talented staff! My sweet girl has been through some rough times and she has been able to talk to her teachers like mentors, and she feels most comfortable in her own skin! As a mom, you can't ask for more than that! Even in the midst of the craziness of the stay home order, Move Dance Fitness kept dance classes going via zoom, quickly added to their website and teachers adjusted choreography. I could tell all the instructors were genuinely happy to see their dancers show up. Yes, dancing at home can be awkward with space and camera restraints, the teachers… quickly made adjustments, even during class, to help the students. The Red Carpet Experience was wonderful!
