Been here for about a year and a half now in a 2/2, and have loved it. Aside from the very minor repairs such as toilet occasionally running all the time (due to Oxford water), I haven't had any issues here. The maintenance guy is awesome.. As a grad student, this is easily affordable and close enough to campus for a walk but far enough from it I'm not dealing with some issues by the party-crowd of students at Miami. The location is extremely convenient having Kroger, Goodwill, Taco Bell, McDonald's, Dunkin, Walgreens, Domino's, and Great Clips either just across the street or around the corner

It's an overall nice place with a really nice outdoor area and a good location if you're a Miami student. However, I have a 4 bedroom/2 bathroom and the unit is pretty small. It's also dirty and dusty when I first moved in, especially the kitchen and bathroom areas. I have to call maintenance every once in a while for toilet, sink or washer issues. The rent is very affordable, so I guess that makes sense.

I would give a 4/5 rating to The Commons! I had a little bit of a hiccup moving in but the staff and management did a great job of accommodating me and my situation. The outside is always maintained and the staff is super friendly. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quiet area but still close to the Miami University-Oxford campus.
It would be a 5/5 but my sister and I had to do a quiet bit of cleaning when first moving in. I will be honest prior to me cleaning my room, bathroom and kitchen it looked like it hadn’t been touched in forever. A couple examples would be the shower

Okay place if you're in a pinch, but there are much better options elsewhere around Oxford for a much lower price. Beware of absolutely insane damage fees and MAKE SURE YOU ARE PROVIDED WITH AN INSPECTION SHEET especially if you do early move in. When I originally moved in it appeared as though the unit had not been cleaned at all -- tape on the carpet, muffins on the kitchen floor, hair in the shower, and worn couches and chairs. Due to COVID I cleaned it myself and did not request new furniture. Wish I did as I was ultimately charged over $1000 to replace furniture they claimed to be brand new
