The apartment is average, nothing great, just average. I would give 2.5 stars if possible.
The good:
Fireplace, ceiling fans, good kitchen layout, balcony
The bad:
LOTS OF NOISE!! The apartments are right next to a day care so I hear screaming kids all day. A school is across the street and I hear them screaming as well. The park next door has barking dogs, kids playing basketball late at night and more screaming kids. The apartment is full of dog owners who are incredibly inconsiderate so you hear their barking dogs as well.
The kitchen has seen better days. Most of the flooring is hard tile

Happy to call Park Place home!! I contacted Melissa at Park Place desperate to find an apartment that would allow 2 med/large dogs (50lbs and 70lbs). She is super helpful, friendly, and responsive, follows up on items right away. After chatting w her she informed me she needed to check w upper mgt as to if the larger dog could be allowed. She responded right back within a couple days - and yes they could accommodate w a pet fee :). Phew what a relief! Having lived in apts before, a monthly pet fee is fairly standard. I got a 2nd floor 1bdrm. apt but after just 2 days realized that my larger dog

Be absolutely sure you know what you are leasing!! When I picked the keys up and walked into the apartment, it was the wrong floor plan!!! I went to the office only to wait for the Manger, Wendy, for 30 minutes because she was "stuck in traffic". All she could do is blame someone else who no longer works there and say to me is "Sorry, you're not the only one that this has happened to." I had to be the one to reach out to the office many times asking and even suggesting what they were going to do to make this right. Every time they talked to me they said that someone from the office told me that

Management Never answers the phone, takes too long with answering emails . 3rd manager since they opened. No grilling area despite all others having them....nothing.... and parking sucks. No pet friendly area. We pick up after our pets only to see others not. Only positive is decent apartment space. That's it.

My husband and I looked at pretty much every new apartment complex in town (TWICE) before deciding on Park Place. We were looking for something more upscale with a homey feeling and Park Place has both in spades. The appliances and finishings are just a step above anything else in town (wood grain porcelain floors, tiled fireplace, full size in unit washer and dryer, side by side refrigerator with ice and filtered water, gas range, convection oven, tiled showers, stone counter tops and more).
The management has been pretty responsive to all of our requests, and move in was as smooth as could be
