We were preparing to downsize from our home of 40 years & found NGS! It was perfect for all our needs. It's convenient; it's a small community with lovely grounds & spacious units & beautiful finishes (9 ft ceilings, crown moldings, granite countertops) & a dining room, which was a priority for us. We find the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable & accommodating. Robert(maintenance supervisor) always responds in a timely manner & can fix pretty much anything! And Teri (property manager) is the best! She has been so helpful as we become accustomed to our new lifestyle. She's welcoming and friendly

I have been calling the front office for 1 week with no answer and no return call. I stopped by twice and no one was in the office. This is poor customer service. If apartments are not available then they should state this on the answering machine or at the very least return the call.
Update: I did receive a call today from the office and they answered all of my questions.

Not only is the apartment complex in an excellent location, but I love the people who work at New Garden Square Apartments. I have had wonderful experiences with ALL employees during my time living here. The current employees, Teri and Robert have been helpful and SO kind to me. Over time I have come to know Teri very well and she has such a kind and loving soul. I love going into the Clubhouse just to say hello to Teri and grab a cup of coffee! We love this community! It is so convenient to shopping, banks, and restaurants, the interstate is just down the road, and the area is very walkable. The complex is very small and laid back, it doesn’t have the party atmosphere that many of the large complexes have, which was super important to us. Our unit is well appointed and spacious, and the grounds are kept pristine. All the folks we’ve met who live here are so friendly and most have dogs, which has been a great point of connection for us to meet our neighbors. Beautiful apartments in a great area! Perfect distance to Aldi, parks, and downtown Greensboro! My only complaint is with Teri, the office manager. She is often condescending, and somewhat petty to work with. After living here for over 2 years she does not make people feel like she wants them to stay. Teri has done nothing technically wrong, but her attitude is abrasive, she is not welcoming, and she is difficult to work with. Overall a great place to live, just try to avoid having to work with the management.

Agree with previous review of Property Manager. It’s a beautiful area to live and super convenient though the walls were a little thin. I lived there for 2 years and the quality of management steadily declined. We had 4 different property managers in those 2 years. The property manager was rude and oblivious. Under new management, we had 2 or 3 break ins, and her message plastered all around the community to ALL residents was “you’re not allowed to use the amenities” that YOU PAY DEARLY FOR, for several months due to some outsider’s delinquent behavior. I’m glad we got out of there

The community was beautiful and the finishes were phenomenal. The floor plans were so spacious but even though it was pretty that’s not the most important part. I met with Ellen- I think she is the manager- and she was SO sweet, funny and truly cared about helping me find my new place. My job ended up taking me to Raleigh but I would recommend this place 10x over just because of my experience with Ellen!! You should live here!!
