Pet acupuncture is a safe technique consisting of the insertion of needles into specific healing pressure points throughout your pet's body. According to the American Veterinary Dental Society more than 80% of dogs and 70% of cats have dental disease by the age of 3. Dental disease can be very uncomfortable for pets and the longer it is left untreated, the more complicated and expensive it becomes to treat.

My boy Latte had an allergic reaction to fleas recently, and he was so miserable and itchy, he was eating his hair off. I was asked how I thought I could improve my visit to North East Animal Hospital. “If they could come up with a topical cream for cats (like neosporin) that won’t cause anaphylactic shock, that would be good, (that’s not the vet’s problem) but other than that, I can’t think of a thing. Lol. They were warm, caring and concerned, quick and efficient, and didn’t scare my boy at all (which was good for their continued health and well-being. Lol). That’s the reason I

This review is in regards to our interactions with Dr. Simpson and her care(or lack there of). The office staff and help were kind and courteous and we didn't need to wait long to get an appointment.
We moved to the area from out of state in august of 2021. We have a 9 year old pit mix and 3 year old cattle dog mix. Both were due for vaccinations around the time we moved so they were able to get us in for those. In this first interaction with Dr. Simpson I was turned off by her suggestion of laser therapy and chiropractic care for our older dog for arthritis despite him not having any issues at

I brought my dog, Rebel, to them for treatment. He was so sick that it was determined that he be euthanized. I am in an argument with the food manufacturer. I asked for and received the doctor's notes on Rebel's condition and treatment. They are poorly hand written. I asked for them to type the doctor's notes for me and their answer was that they were too busy to do that. It is 22 lines of notes. The doctor could dictate the notes to someone who can type and it would take less than 10 minutes.
The dog food manufacturer is going to use this excuse as a reason not to settle my claim. There is no

I have been taking my pets to the North East Animal Hospital for almost 20 years... They have always been polite, friendly, courteous, compassionate, and thorough. The doctors listen and spend time with you. Even during this pandemic, although we can't go into the hospital with our boys, the doctors and staff spend as much time on the phone with you as needed... taking notes of any concerns, answering questions and giving directions all while we waited in the parking lot. I highly recommend North East Animal Hospital.

I've been here a few times and each time the staff was super friendly and took good care of my pooch. They always check with you before doing anything with the animals. They also give a great in depth description of the problems and how they can best solve them. My little girl Thunder has received top quality treatment every time and I will continue to use them anytime she has an issue.

I travel full-time and my dog has auto-immune disorders so I go to vets all around the country, last year alone she saw vets in 8 or 9 different cities. I know what vet prices should be and for some reason this vet in Elkton, MD is more expensive then vets in ski resort towns of CO, Dallas, Miami, DC, etc. For example I was told a fecal test would be $53, outrageous. They also charge you $10 if you want to fill your prescription through someone else, even if it an authorized online vet pharmacy. There are many other options nearby, I would use someone else if I were you.

The staff here is the opposite of friendly, very nasty. Upon having our family dog euthanized a tech told us that this was our fault and we could have avoided it by bringing him in for well visits. We take our pets to their yearly clinics but may not have the money to bring them in every 6 months for a wellness check up. Though he actually had neurological issues, most likely a brain tumor that was not avoidable. They told us a price for the service after we were finished they said they forgot to mention an additional charge of almost $200 that we must pay or we would not be able to take his remains
