Annual physical exams are recommended for all animals. These exams are the first step in detecting an underlying disease before it becomes a bigger problem. As animals age, they are more prone to health problems, therefore, we recommend semi-annual exams once a dog or cat reaches seven years of age.
Atlantic Veterinary Center is excited to offer our clients Companion Laser Therapy. Laser therapy provides a non-invasive, pain-free, surgery-free, drug-free treatment which is used to treat a variety of conditions and can be performed in conjunction with existing treatment protocols. Relief and/or improvement is often noticed within hours depending on the condition and your pet's response.

Dr Weiher is great, it’s that new line of front desk staff that is unacceptable. I’ve been taking my pets to Atlantic vet for 15 yrs, but the past year or more I can see the quality of the front desk staffing is not the same. Today’s phone call about my puppy’s missed vaccine was the last straw. Sorry dr you are great but staff isn’t anymore.

Never been so insulted by a doctor in my life. My ferret has been sick for 6 months and I paid him to treat her with 5 different medications during that time. About 4 months in he explained if the last option didn’t work, it was probably terminal without expensive surgery. (She’s already in the later years of a ferrets life.) so he basically prescribed a medication to make her more comfortable. Now a week ago I ask for a refill, and he refused to refill it, and I asked what the next step was. No return to my calls all week, and then Today the manager tells me he no longer wants to treat her

I recently got into exotic birds and was thrilled to find Atlantic Veterinary Center. This is our newest addition, Rodney and he needed to get checked out before we put him with our other birds. The staff was supper friendly, the vet tech handled the bird beautifully and the doctor was awesome! I'll definitely be going back.
