I first went on Friday after Thanksgiving, wasn't sure what to expect. Thanks to Ryan and Alicia for helping me learn the moves properly and showing me ways to modify. I can't do all the moves due to multiple surgeries, but I still did what my body let me. I would recommend anyone going to this class.
I have been coming to this gym for 2 months now and you never know until your there what kind of workout your going to have! Everyone is so welcoming and encouraging and Coach Ryan and Alicia are just amazing, they know their stuff! If your reading this, I challenge you to try it! It's worth it! I love the atmosphere here.

CrossFit is a training program that builds functional strength and conditioning through daily workouts that are constantly varied and are sure to push you to your limits. We train your body to be capable of taking on any physical challenge life throws at you. This 1:1 course is designed to familiarize beginners with all of the fundamental movements needed to safely and effectively perform CrossFit workout.
To be a part of the Committed Club, you must check in to CrossFit/ReBoot class and WOD 17 times* or more in one month. Being a part of the committed club is an honor and a testament to your commitment to fitness and self-improvement through consistency. The more you're at CrossFit Recreate, the closer you are to your goals!

CrossFit Recreate is the best place to go if you’re trying to better yourself and become a better overall athlete. I worked with Ryan for around 4 months in total and had an incredible experience. Learning how to strengthen my weaknesses to become stronger. I truly couldn’t recommend this place enough, the environment and people are incredible!!

I have been doing Crossfit on and off for 3 years now. I am in school which requires me to move around a lot, therefore I have been to a lot of different Crossfit gyms. Recreate Crossfit would rival all of them in quality, community, coaching, and personality. The gym has great equipment and programming. The coaches here are some of the most talented when it comes to teaching you lifts or scaling the work out for you, helping you succeed while keeping you safe. I tend to lean more towards solo workouts but a friend recently brought me to one of Matt’s classes and I’ve been going ever since! He has a great balance of showing the entire class how to use proper form and encouraging us while also still taking the time out to do some one-on-one. Overall he definitely changed my perspective on a group workout and couldn’t recommend a better person than Matt!

I love this place! The community of people, the approachability of the coaches, the overall health and wellness focus and inclusivity of all who show up make this gym second to none. The workouts are hard and rewarding, but achievable, no matter what your fitness level! I have never once attended class and regretted going!

Quite simply the best place to work out! Nothing beats quality coaching and workout pals that make up a true fitness family. You will not find encouragement like this anywhere else from both the owners/coaches and fellow athletes. The classes are always varied, never boring and the best all around fitness training you could hope for. If you come give it a try you won’t be sorry!

I was apprehensive about joining a new gym when we moved to Butler last year after being at my previous CrossFit gym for so long. Ryan, Alicia, and the Recreate community were open and welcoming from my very first class. With the knowledge and support of the coaching staff, I was able to remain active through my second pregnancy and I can’t wait to return. I highly recommend CrossFit Recreate to anyone looking for fun and functional fitness, regardless of experience or current fitness level.

If you’re interested in improving your strength, fitness & overall wellness this is the gym to be at! When I began, I had so many insecurities and self-doubt but as I became more comfortable with the skills and the people that support me, I have found so much more confidence. The coaches are two of the best people in Butler. They truly care!
I am always improving and pushing myself to try harder. It’s not easy to find the time or the money; and there are a million excuses of other things I could be doing with my time but my time at CFR is the part of my day when I feel the best and I am doing
