I have been living in The Collective for almost a year now and I could not be more happy. Everything has been fantastic. From the staff, to the unit I selected, the amenities, and more! Highly recommend this community for anyone new to DC or even locals! I am especially happy with my experience with Owen recently at the leasing office. His kindness, knowledge of the building, and hard work has really made my process of upgrading to a bigger unit easy!

Just moved to one of the properties of The Collective. Moving is usually a mix of stress and excitement. But more than that, my experience leaned towards that of appreciation and gratitude.
Vicky Ghneim is the Assistant Community Manager, who truly designed the most awesome (new) tenant experience at The Collective. She is the consummate professional! She's organized, polite and communicative. Most importantly, Vicky is highly responsive. She's attuned to our needs and requests. And she takes action. Immediately. I would definitely encourage everyone to move to The Collective just to have that

We moved into The Garrett, one of three buildings within The Collective DC, ten days ago and we could not be more thrilled! Since we'd moved from out-of-state, the whole process had been extremely stressful, but that ended as soon as we arrived here. Everyone we've encountered has been extremely friendly and helpful, though Vicky G. deserves a special shout-out for being ultra efficient and addressing our questions and needs immediately. We hope we will continue to love living here as much as we do right now because the fact is that when you live in an apartment building, issues will

After the initial problems with my move in being addressed by management I truly started to love living here (even recommended the community to everyone that was looking to move that asked me) UNTIL I started having problems with water damage (causing MOLD) in the ceiling of my bathroom. Yes as soon as I submitted the request I had maintenance and the building manager engaged in fixing the issue. However it's been three times (May, Sep and now October) that I have had to call in the issue (different leaks same spot) and yes it did not meet the requirements of DC law to have a mold specialist

Outstanding place to live if you can bear the leasing office staff. I worked with Arlen when I first signed and now Daria while I transfer to a new unit. Both experiences left me frustrated even days later, enough so to take the time to leave a review. Emails were terse and my follow up questions were met with short, condescending responses.
Front desk staff on the other hand are kind and welcoming and make the building worth staying in.

I recently moved to the Collective Apartments. Jena at the Leasing Office has been very helpful and supportive of my move. She was available whenever I had questions or needed her help. She is AWESOME and so is the rest of the staff at the leasing office!!! Also, I want to mention that I find the concierge staff very helpful and friendly. Very happy with my new place and its management.

We signed a Lease with Agora for its amenities. Other apartments in the area were more competitive but we wanted the better amenities so we paid the extra money. Since we moved in, management has been excessive with policing the amenities. I pay too much money to have a security guard tell me that I'm not allowed to sit on the roof after 10pm on a Friday night. I've been asked to leave the rooftop because I had my dog with me while using the grill. I later reread my lease and it never mentioned anything about dogs being prohibited from the grilling areas.

I have been a resident here for over 8 months now and I am yet to be disappointed. The community is central, well appointed and beautifully maintained. The management and leasing office (headed up by Arlen) is always a pleasure to deal with. Best value in Navy Yard by far. Why haven't you moved in yet?

Couldn't love this place more. My apartment in Park Chelsea is gorgeous and every person you meet here is beyond friendly. People go out of their way to say hello in elevators and common areas. The amenities are unbeatable - there are even free tennis classes at the moment. So many places to go and hangout and the staff is incredible. Special thanks to Arlen in leasing for all his help getting me set up and adjusted. So happy at my new home.

The management at park chelsea is horrendous. tells me to pay rent, i pay it, check to make sure i did it correctly, oh look, its already been deducted, and they too much. try to cancel payment, sorry we cant help you, you will mail your $2200 we took from you in error after 45 days. poor people surely should not live here.
btw.. this was not my first issue here with management, leasing just as bad and just as rude.
Meghan at the front desk is the only positive person in the building.
paid for amenities that were closed and unable to be used. no offer of rebates.

Never been this satisfied in an apartment rental complex before. This place is amazing and is THE BEST value in the navy yard. Three pools, three gyms, massage rooms, game rooms, rooftop views, tennis court, basketball court. WORRY FREE living. The management office, mainly Arlen, goes ABOVE AND BEYOND to make your experience the best. Even though there are hundreds of residents, he will be available at all times of the week and night to make sure you are satisfied.
Can’t recommend this place enough.

I lived at The Collective (Park Chelsea) for a little over the year - almost entirely during the pandemic. I bought a place so that's why I left and I was so sad to go! I absolutely love the front desk staff here! Megan was always happy to see my dog and I - from day 1 she was warm and friendly. I had a major knee surgery during my time here and they helped me out making sure delivery people brought stuff up to my door etc. the bldg is super quiet for being so large! Staff does a great job keeping it clean. The amenities are amazing and there's always some kind of social event going on

I have lived at the Collective Apartments (in the Garrett, specifically) for almost three months now! Since I moved during the pandemic, and moved across the country from Washington State, all arrangements and tours were done virtually. Even with the time difference, the staff was super helpful and answered all of my (often mundane and tedious) questions. I relied heavily on Arlen, my leasing agent, to ensure everything was figured out and set up in my new apartment. He was so helpful that I was able to show up to the Garrett after driving for 8 hours, get my key, and start unloading my things

I moved into the Garrett ( part of the collective) 2 months ago and I'm so happy with my decision. The staff is extremely attentive, helpful and the front desk staff greets me each morning by name, just super welcoming. My apartment is quiet, gets amazing south facing sun and everything is brand new.. I'm in LOVE. Thank you to Arlen, and our front desk staff for everything you have done to make this place feel like home.

Leasing office is beyond rude. All the leasing offices in Navy Yard have great agents except The Collective. I went and toured the building in August with a friend who was looking for units. Because I went on this tour with a friend they now won't allow me the 48 hour tour incentive when I'm interested in apartment now that I want to move and was referred by the friend who actually moved in. Beyond idiotic. All other building in the area allow the option to retour for concessions as availability may change and better suite your desired move in date. Arlene then felt the need to ask if

My leasing experience at the Collective has been awesome! Arlen has been patient, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. My move was delayed a bit from my initial visit and I've returned a few to see different units and again when the higher floors opened up. Throughout all of this time, Arlen has been incredibly helpful. I am really looking forward to moving in soon!
If you are looking in the Navy Yard area, I would recommend checking out the Collective. The building is great and has the best amenities I've seen in Navy Yard!

I've been exceptionally impressed by The Collective Apartments since I moved in about a month ago. Arlen and his team have been accommodating, professional, helpful, and welcoming, even a month in! The apartment is fantastic, the location is well connected to all parts of DC, and the amenities are second to none. I can't imagine living anywhere else now!

My wife and I have recently moved into Agora and it has been an amazing experience. Arlen has been nothing but kind and professional. He helped us find the best deal for our apartment and has gone above and beyond for us. We have loved exploring the different buildings and seeing all of the amenities like the dog wash station and basketball court. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Also, you also cannot beat the views from the rooftop!

My husband and I had been wanting to move to the Park Chelsea for months, and we finally got to do it. Apart from its wonderful location (walking distance to the National Mall, restaurant neighbors and coffee shops, Eastern Market, etc.), the community, amenities, and personable staff make The Collective the obvious choice for young professionals in DC Metro. Each of the three buildings share the amenities with the residents of the others. This means that you’ll get access to 3 gyms, 3 rooftops, indoor and outdoor pools, resident lounges, and so much more. Most importantly, our leasing agent
