Very clean, within walking distance of the beach. Loved having a porch.

Came down for family Thanksgiving on the island. The property is old built in 1968 and just finished replacing the sliding glass doors. Physically the building is maintained well. The unit was clean and bedding very good. It's time though the the owners perhaps start looking at bring the units up to 2021 inside the units. Replacing rusty closet tracts, replacing de-silvering mirrors, new counter tops. Those two items will enhance the units appeal.

Unforgettable experience. They surpassed their hospitality. My wife has been coming her since she was a child, now we are bringing our kids, same rooms, different set up.

Very clean property and well maintained. The rooms were nice and plenty of space for 4 people in a two bedroom condo. A few picky reasons for a 4 star rating are the showers are extremely low in the unit we were in. They barely came up to my under arm. Secondly the kitchen was sparse in comparison to other units. Our unit was number 307

Our favorite place to stay. Hands down best location for beach access. The staff was awesome and very accommodating.

We absolutely LOVE coming to the CC Island House Condominiums. It feels like coming home to my husband and me. Cynthia, Maria, and all the staff treat us like family! I think this trip is about the 12th time we've come here over the last several years. Condos are always so clean and inviting! Sooooo many amenities! Outdoor pool, grilling area, laundry room, daily towel service, great little shop in the office, gated access to the beach! Already can't wait to come back!

Really close to the beach. Older condos. Family crowd. Has bbq pits. Has 3 stories, but 2 elevators.

Great Place Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Loved that it's right on the beach, Awesome views. Only complaint I wish the main bedroom had a door for privacy. Other than that can't wait to go back!

Loren at Front Desk was very Rude, I Tried to change my reservation due to cancer treatments in Dallas and she said not. I was told I would get my $600 back since I was well before the 90 day deadline. I was so shocked I could not change my reservation did not know what to say. I asked to talk to a manager and she said no and said she had worked there for 5 years and I did not need to speak with anyone else. I Was very unhappy, its not my fault I have to get radiation in Dallas, She hung up on me and was extremely rude basically told me not to call back. I guess I wont be coming back any time

We have been coming here since the 80's and the island still looks the same. The best thing about the island house is location location location and the pool area. Plus the people who work there are very accommodating and over all do a very good job. HEB is only a 10 minute drive and there are plenty of places to eat within a few minutes of the island house. The real issue is that the units need to be updated ie new beds, updated toilets (they still use low flush toilets -waste of water), couches and chairs need to be upgraded. Simply the BEST for clean, family togetherness and an Outstanding Staff assisting all the way! We have been building memories here for 30+ years! Beach is private from an approach standpoint and is cleaned each day.

I've stayed here before no complaints. Recently I reserved a beachfront 1st floor and was told it wouldn't be available. 1 week and a few days till my trip. I emailed and yet to have a resolution or response regarding my complaint. I even tried to reserve another room and was told I couldn't until management called me to make sure I understood the policy.

Our room was clean and the side balcony was nice. A little old but again clean and friendly staff. We had a private beach which was lovely. We will definitely return.

We have been coming here for years and love it. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. Units are very nicely equipped with everything u need. Some are a little dated but we always find them to be very clean. Huge plus for us is that it is right on the beach and there is a concrete area above the beach where u can walk a few miles with the nice ocean breeze.

My family has stayed at Island House for ages but this last trip wasn't the cleanest (which worried us because of this Coronavirus pandemic). We found hair in our shower, used q-tips in the bedroom, a pacifier under the coffee table, and the oven (which had obviously not been cleaned in a while) stunk up the entire condo when we turned it on. The bed that was supposed to be a King was a full and there were multiple people smoking at the pool. Other than that, the rooms were well decorated and furnished as usual and we enjoyed being so close to the beach.

Great location, but outdated, very loud and expensive for what you get. The pool is located in the middle of the complex and it was so crowded and noisy it was worthless and was a big detractor at night, especially if you're in a first floor room.

Crowded with unsupervised, screaming children, old fat men smoking cigars and families that looked like they moved all their worldly belongings to the place. Others appeared to take up every gas grill in the patio for their personal use in one giant party of grinning, greasy discourteousness.

This is my #1 happy place. Literally. When I am stressed out I close my eyes and think about walking out of my Island House room, through the grass, down the beach stairs, and into the ocean. Every time I pull into the property and see that one-of-a-kind sign, I grin from ear to ear.

First time staying here and loved it! All the staff from the office to laundry and maintenance workers were friendly and accommodating. Our unit was immaculately clean and well stocked. I wish the pool was larger, but the private beach area helps make up for that. I would recommend them without hesitation.

The rooms were nice but the management was horrible. They were rude and very stereotypical. Unorganized, and will threaten you by just walking to the parking lot. I was threatened by a security guy who got in my face so I left that night and wasn't refunded my money, they gave me a hard time for just being there, wouldn't go here ever again.

I love this place. Rooms are good and well stocked. Pool & beach right here. Friendly, helpful staff. You can be as relaxed or busy as you want to be. Nothing beats listening to the ocean outside your back door!

I've stayed here several times and have usually stayed in the same unit that has a beautiful ocean front view. These condo's have really good service and the staff will help you with anything right away, whether it's towels, internet,directions, keys, etc. It's steps from the beach and the condos are clean, comfy, and pretty spacious. I really like staying here for a weekend when I can get away with my family. The rates are pretty good especially in fall or winter when the rates are discounted and they have a nice heated pool! My in-laws went down to Padre a couple years ago to have a family vacation (now that we've got kids to play with) and they decided to make this an annual event. So me and my husband joined them last year and this year. We stayed at Island House both times and I think this will just be our designated place as long as this family thing runs.

I am generally happy with this place except that they have no wifi and you have to bring your own cable and/or router. They charge $7.50 for a cable which we will have no use for (we already have too much at home which we always forgot to bring!). Also

Clean, convenient, and relaxing condos on North Padre. The condo we stayed in offered a stunning view of the water and was just steps from the beach. It was also spacious with a full kitchen and two full bathrooms. Although not high-end luxury, the condo was clean and modern (diswasher incl). Plus, there is a pool and laundry facilities on site. AAA discounts offered in the winter.
