High Chalet Condominiums is a panoramic, unique mountain resort featuring spectacular views of the Smoky Mountains and city of Gatlinburg. The complex is nestled in at the top of Ski Mountain Road and overlooks the Ober Gatlinburg Recreation Area and ski slopes, Mt.
LeConte, and, of course, the quaint town of Gatlinburg. Enjoy the many hiking trails and scenery of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park with entrances only minutes away. Condominiums are privately owned and may be rented through various rental companies. The complex is composed of 5 three-story buildings.

Services
Condos are rented by owners, some book direct (avoid vrbo or similar type fees) while others use agencies to manage their listings. They are happy to hear from you about spending time up at the complex on your vacation. High Chalet does not have an on site reservation management office however. We stayed with friends at Moose-B-Haven condo on third floor. Condo was very out of date. Kitchen utensils limited, not updated and old. Appliances not user friendly. We ended up cooking every night because location was way atop winding and steep incline roadway. If I knew in advanced where condo location was wouldn't have booked and stayed down in Gatlinburg. We were fearful to drive up hill at night in the dark. Place was dirty, lots of dust on vents in bathroom and around fixtures.

Very quiet and nice Mountain get away. The view was gorgeous from outside the window and the condo itself was very well kept and clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The pool was also a great experience, it was clean and well kept.
My only minor gripe would be that the grass was a a little too high. We grilled out one night and it was just a bit uncomfortable and the bulbs really ate up our legs.
I would absolutely recommend staying here not only because of how nice the brown and condos were but also because of the location as stated above it was quiet but we were also very close
