Park Place Condos

Our favorite place to stay when visiting Gatlinburg! Spacious condos with multiple options to pick from based on your needs and number of guests. Each unit has a porch overlooking the river great for relaxing and listening to the river. Walking distance to multiple restaurants and shops. Cannot recommend this place enough!

This location is walking distance to many Gatlinburg eateries and the base station of the Ober Gatlinburg sky tram as well. It's a tricky location to find and if you're coming down the hill to reach it on your first visit you're likely to drive past it. Coming out of the condo parking there's a mirror on a pole across the street so you don't get blindsided by a car coming fast around the corner. Parking is very adequate and the babbling stream outside your room is a wonderful lullaby for falling asleep. Explore the town from here or hike on nature trails and scenic overlooks. Snow tubing is possible

Great view of the river from all units. Very reasonably priced for a full kitchen and full bath for each bedroom. Rooms always clean. Have stayed here in various rooms over a dozen times.

Critical: Quality
Dirty kitchen, food on cabinets fronts, some dirty dishes. House shoes would stick to floor when walked on. Master shower not clean. Guest bathroom floor dirty. Beds and pillows in second bedroom were the most uncomfortable bed I have ever attempted to sleep on. I would not recommend anyone stay here.

I've been staying at Park Place every year for 20+ years, always had great experience. Receptionist always very helpful and responds very fast.
You won't find a better stay for the price.
The only thing I wish they did is some updates inside. All these years absolutely nothing has been updated. Same bed quilts are being used for 20+ years. Everything is so outdated and very old. Other than that place is great.

Excellent. Have stayed here several times. All units are on the "river". Wilderness across the river gives you a feeling of being in the mountains, yet, you're no more than 100 yards or so from downtown Gatlinburg.

I was pleasantly surprised with our stay. The rooms were very nice and spacious. The location was great within walking distance to many of the shops and restaurants. There were a few webs and the air vents could use some cleaning, but overall the rooms were pretty decent. One recommendation would be for both bedrooms in the 2 condo rooms to have televisions. We only had one in the king room and some of my other family members with 2 king rooms only had 1 television but we had our cell phones and tablets that we could use. There Is a second TV in the living room but just thought it would be nice

We absolutely loved our stay. We were a group of 9- 4 of that being rowdy kiddos. We loved having space to spread out. The adequate sleeping arrangements were a huge plus. We were grateful that no kids got stuck on a couch or air mattress. The balcony was a big favorite as well. It had the perfect serene view of the river. My only suggestion was I wish there was a little more “supplies”. Like maybe dish soap or coffee, salt and pepper etc. In my travel experience that just takes a lot of stress off us when that stuff is there just in case. Washer and dryer was also a big bonus with kiddos.

To be honest i did not stay there. I had made a reservation for late May 2021 but before I did I called and asked for their cancellation policy. I was told at least 7 days prior to arrival. When I got my confirmation it was then stated on the confirmation that there is a $40 fee for cancellations. If I had known I would have thought twice about making them. As it is I had to cancel (5 weeks in advance) and was charged the $40. I contacted the hotel via email and stated that I did not think it was fair and I had specifically called and asked the policy. I never got a response thought to be honest

Great location, great views of the river, nice sized balcony. Condo was very clean and has a great floor plan. The price was great for a two bedroom condo with two bathrooms a jacuzzi tub in master bath and a gas log fireplace in a spacious den area. Looking forward to coming back this spring and listening to the river at night

I have stayed here about 4 times and I have loved it every time! The view from the balcony over the stream is beautiful! You feel like you are staying in the Smokies! I love this place and hope to be back soon! Each condo is individually owned and is different!

Location is great, at the end of the parkway, close enough to walk. The unit we stayed was clean and well stocked with everything you need to cook a meal, plenty of towels, ect for our party. Beautiful view of the Little Pigeon river from our balcony. Close to the strip, but far enough away to hear the frogs croaking at night. We will definitely be returning.

Beautiful and serene location. The river view in the back balcony is a pleasant feature. We stayed in a 2-bedroom unit and it was spacious and comfortable. The service at check-in from Donna was excellent. Decent amenities and overall a wonderful experience for our family trip.

Great location. Good price. We enjoyed our stay for the weekend that we were there. This condo offers very convenient location to everything that Gatlinburg has to offer without the crowds. It's close enough to walk to everything and the best attraction, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, is very close. I would stay there again.

Great location. Priced right. Well worth the money. Remember if going to Pigeon Forge take the bypass (right instead of left on the main street) to avoid Gatlinburg traffic and see great views of the town.
Easy to walk to downtown Gatlinburg. River view was beautiful.

Question: Why have members of my family stayed at Park Place ten times? Answer: location, location, location.

Park Place is ideally located to stroll in to town, hike the 2 mile trail to Sugarlands and still overlook a stream and national park. No need to drive up and down the mountain and fight for parking.

The great location compensates for several shortcomings: the master bath shower is a phone booth; the hot tub holds about six inches of hot water when the water heater runs out of hot water; the master bathroom lacks sufficient surface areas and shelving for personal items. It is recommended
