Bought a brand new Giant hardtail from Rudy's a couple of years ago. Wonderful bike, accept the stock tires, bike came with Dirt racing tires that were HELLA light, but consequently,HELLA thin. Had a flat omw to work the next day🤬 Having just sprung for a brand new bike, good lock, and quality kickstand I was a little tapped on funds (especially to get the tires I needed for a daily Chicago commute) The guys at the shop were very understanding and helpful. They never once tried to sell me anything I didn't need. They set me up with a set of Rhinodillos to buy me some time and keep me on the

Leaving a compliment for Aaron and Bill who both went above and beyond to get me the part/piece needed to attach a dog trailer to my bicycle. They both did the research/measurements and reported back that the part (hitch) was in stock. I stopped by the store and was in & out and ready to ride in less than 10min. All bike shops aren't equal. If you've been in a few I think you know what I'm talking about. I've been an avid cyclist for decades and have had experiences in a ton of shops. Rudy's is a really good one. Took my custom road bike in for a tuneup once and they treated it like it was their own. The mechanic even asked if he could take it for a ride - he really loved it. (It's a vintage bike and quite spectacular if I do say so myself!). Even with vintage components they were able to work their magic and get it into perfect shape for another season of riding.

I needed a bike rack for my car and had been shopping around at various big retailers. I decided to buy a Saris Bones 3-Bike at Rudy's Cycle and Fitness because the price was comparable to other retailers and also to support small local businesses. Rudy provided excellent customer service! He was very nice and took the time to assemble the bike rack and place it on my car. He was great at explaining how I should mount the bike rack and how to ensure it's secure, since I had told him I was buying the bike rack for a long road trip. I also appreciated that everyone inside the shop was wearing

I love Rudy's! I had called earlier today looking for a bike box (which it turns out I didn't need) but no bike shop near my house had any but Rudy's did. I purchased my Liv Alight 3 bike from this store a few years ago and they gave my dad and I a great deal on the bikes :) I need to get a gear on my bike fixed and will be heading to Rudy's soon to have that fixed! He is a super friendly guy and overall they have great customer service!

My husband was looking to make his first "nice" bike purchase. We had no idea what we needed to look at, I called, I explained to them what he was going to use it for. The guy on the phone said the had 2 bikes left that fit the description. My husband went about an hour later and he thought the guy in front of him bought the last one. Luckily the bike shop had put on aside for him and we purchased it that day. Thanks for making this bike purchase easy! We'll be back!

My first review, Yay!! And long overdue.
I went to Rudy Cycle 2 years ago for my birthday treat: a bike!
The second I entered the shop I felt taken cared of. Folks working there are super friendly and what I liked about them is that they don't pressure you into a purchase.
Plenty of selections, I ended up getting a medium size Giant. So happy with the purchase. I live in Schaumburg and I go to Busse Preserve every chance I get (weather permitted :)
Forgot to mention I drive a small 2 door car, but no issues fitting the bike in the trunk as the front wheel detaches.

I would give this bike shop over 5 stars if I could. They go far and beyond to help their customers. I have compared their services to other LBS and they seem to beat any shop I have visited in the area. They will only make any "needed repairs" and not overcharge for work that was unneeded or not ever done. After my recent visit for a standard tune on my E-bike, they were offering their yearly promotion of 35% OFF these services for the month of Jan and Feb only. The service tech (Bill) gave me a full rundown of work performed which I was very satisfied with.

Great experience at Rudy's. My 5 year old daughter needed a seat post for her juvenile Giant bicycle that was handed down to us. The other two stores I went to first didn't have a post that fit. Not only did Rudy's have the part but were extremely accommodating (especially considering we came in 20 minutes before they closed.) They also made a few adjustments on the bike and now my daughter can finally learn how to ride without training wheels! Thank you Rudy's!
