Eye on the Ball Vision opened to serve the local community in 2006 and moved to its current Zachary, LA location in 2016. We are a family-owned and operated business dedicated to serving members of the family from grandparents to grandchildren. We truly love caring for all members of the community and enjoy giving personal attention to each member of the family.
Eye on the Ball is a full service eye clinic. We not only can get you seeing great and looking great with glasses and contacts but also take care of your sick eyes. We treat glaucoma as well as most other eye conditions. We can evaluate the eyes for any damage due to systemic diseases like diabetes and hypertension.
Here at Eye On the Ball Vision Clinic, we love meeting new patients. Part of easing your concerns is explaining what you can expect from our practice. When you are new to our office, we put in the effort to provide you with a positive and comforting experience. Once you have been with us for a while, you can continue to expect the highest level of service.

Dr Tate and his Staff were polite, professional and very knowledgeable. They explained everything to my daughter and myself about our eye appointment. My daughter loved playing with his granddaughters. It is truly a family atmosphere , you feel very welcomed as soon as you enter the front door. we appreciate their services.

I’ve been using Eye on the Ball for several years now and I can say they’re always professional and accommodating. During emergency situations they accommodate even during non traditional hours and appointments are easy to get otherwise. I use Eye on the Ball for the whole family and it’s nice to be accommodated locally with the utmost professionalism.

I was blown away by the staff at Eye on the Ball. The professionalism of the entire staff from the optometrist to the receptionist was exceptional. I have never had a experience where the wait time was bare minimum. I am a first timer there and I can most definitely say that they have my business from henceforth. Best optometrist & staff hands down

I am over 65 and have been wearing glasses for most of my life. The Eye on the Ball Clinic is the best experience I have encountered. Staff is very professional but though this was my first visit they made me feel like a life long neighbor. Everyone worked hard to satisfy my needs for new glasses. I will be recommending their services to friends and family. A happy customer.
