I'm finishing up my second year with University Rentals. Thank you for making my off campus living an enjoyable one! I would highly recommend this company, very pleasant to deal with and loved our maintenance guy, Rick! Would rent from again, but I'm outta here. I lived at 64 W Carpenter St for the 2018-2019 school year and it was the honesty the best year ever.

Positive: Quality, Responsiveness
Lived in a house on Grosvenor, and had a great experience with university rentals! Maintenance was very responsive. Marcey and the other lady in the office are very kind and helpful!

€œI love the town home community because the environment here is friendly and there are amazing amenities at my town home. What I really like is it's very near all of my classes and a stone’s throw from uptown Athens. The Manager is very kind and good person and I recently had an issue with the stove, so I reported it to her, and problem was resolved quickly. Thanks to the manager to be so quick to solve the issue.â€

I was scared to write a review when I first moved out because I didn’t want any money taken out of the deposit due to a bad review, but it’s been a few months now! First, this rental company is making fake reviews on their page to get their rating up. You can read through them and notice the repeating reviews! Second, the house my roommates and I lived in was horrible. In the winter we didn’t have heat so it was unbearable in our home. We had to wear winter coats downstairs along with other heavy duty clothes unless you wanted to freeze. Maintenance ever actually fixed any issues we had either

If I could give zero stars I would. The first day I moved in all the entrances were unlocked and the front door was left wide open. When I called to complain they said I need to “move past this.†So unacceptable. The house wasn’t clean when we got there and I’m sure they charged a hefty cleaning fee from the previous tenants. At the end of the lease they charged us for items that we listed were broken in the move in inspection that they never came and fixed in the first place. Maintenance stopped showing up after the first week. Very unprofessional.

The houses are in terrible condition! They didn’t do anything to clean the house from the previous tenants when we moved in. The fridge, freezer, and bathroom was filled with mold before we even moved in. The carpet was disgusting, majority of the windows did not lock. Things were constantly breaking. The staff doesn’t seem to care about anything but their money. I’ve had to badger them to respond to me about very simple things such as my security deposit and receipts pertaining to it. Don’t rent with them unless you want to be stuck in a terrible situation for the entirety of your lease

DO. NOT. RENT. FROM. THIS. SHADY. COMPANY. Rent elsewhere, it's better to pay a little extra to live somewhere with landlords that give you even a morsel of respect than to rent from this company. We left our apartment SPOTLESS. We spent hours cleaning everything they told us to clean, and even spackled the walls. It took an entire weekend, but we were proud of our work because the apartment was in much better condition than how it was given to us. Low and behold, we were charged $400 in cleaning fees for things we already cleaned. It was completely obvious that they did not inspect the units before

THIS RENTAL COMPANY IS SHADY. My roommates and I rented from this company and had SO many issues. First off, the house wasn’t even cleaned when we moved into it—we had to call/email for four days to get them to come back out to clean our house. Second, we had an animal get into our walls and it unfortunately passed away. The smell of rotting animal plagued our house and they had to cut open our wall to try and find the animal. When they couldn’t find it (more like lack of effort of trying to find the animal) they stuffed our wall with GAIN DRYER SHEETS hoping the problem went away. Immediately

University Town homes was simply the nicest living experience I had while in Athens. The units are spacious and I always had my privacy. Security lighting at night made it nice to come and go. My cousin who goes to OU is now living there and is having the same wonderful experience.

I lived at 10 Milliron last year and had a great time. It was a good value compared to other similar complexes. The management worked with me on a payment plan which was a big help. I am truly appreciative they were understanding of my student loan situation and did not charge any late fees for my rent. Thanks Kim for the extra time.

Would give 0 stars if that was an option. Where do I begin? I've been living here for less than 3 months and have a lifetime of complaints to hand out. First off, I am under complete belief these people didn't do a clean out of the out before we moved in. There was a whole sectional left in our 3rd floor bedroom that they "must've missed" in the move out process. I've put a countless amount of work orders in for this house and none of them have been completed besides painting over the MOLD in BOTH of our bathrooms. There is a heavy leak in my personal bedroom ceiling

University Rentals is true to only one thing-- it's single star rating on yelp! I don't even post yelp reviews and I got on here just to give them the worst review possible. I would never recommend to anyone- they are inattentive, they are scammers, they will never fix anything and they will make every problem your responsibility as their tenant. Never rent from them if you have ANY other option unless you want to feel like you are basically throwing money in the garbage!!!!

Do not use this company! They manage thousands of properties, so you are SOL if u need to contact them or need something. This company single-handedly ruined my college experience. Property was filthy, everything broken, nothing insulated & our heating bill sometimes rose to + $600 a month. The front door didn't close when i moved in, a window was broken. Couldn't park on the street, on the tree lawn, or behind the house or you got towed. Maintenance guy showed up to fix the door with no shirt on and his pet squirrel. No mailbox upon arrival. Clause in the lease that makes YOU responsible

This rental company is horrible. NOT WORTH THE STRESS AND PROBLEMS.
I've had such a bad experience with this company that I don't even want to put it into words. They've screwed my roommate and I over in so many ways that I don't want any one else to have these problems. It's the seventh week of school and I'm just learning of MORE issues with this house and the people at this company. There were problems to begin with.
My house was DISGUSTING when I moved in, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in *years*. Thankfully, my mom helped me clean everything, but

They're such bad landlords that I sat here trying to remove the one star that they require to post a review. My girlfriend and I had almost the exact same experience with University Rentals as zach r. (We lived in two separate houses) When I moved in there was an enormous hole under my sink (I could see the foundation of the house) it was unpainted, with the patch work clearly visible, I decided to just put up posters and tapestries and not think about it since they said they were done painting and I couldn't do it myself. The large front window was also falling out of the frame and

This rental company is the worst in Athens by far. I had the unfortunate luck of having University Rentals buy out my property while I was living there and had heard they were awful but had no choice but to be their tenant. The maintenance guys are really nice and friendly but the men who run the business are absolute slumlords. They exploit students and charge a ridiculous amount of money for houses that are in terrible condition. The place I lived in had 2 bathrooms for 7 people and one broke in the middle of the winter, it was still not fixed by the time we moved out in June even though we called

Absolutely terrible.

The apartment was filthy when I moved in. There were holes in walls, lots of things wrong with it. Maintenance was also really slow and not effective. The roof leaked numerous times, the heater broke/didnt work throughout the whole winter.

They then proceed to keep my full security deposit (and try to charge me $100 more) for damage to an apartment that is not mine....and then they choose not to answer their email or phone
