I have lived at the University Commons for 2 years now, I have always been extremely satisfied with their services and hospitality. From dropping my keys behind my fridge (during Christmas break I must add), sink breaks, and multiple shower breaks, maintenance has shown up as quickly as possible. The bus service is an added bonus! I really appreciate the bus drivers and their efforts to get students to campus. Very dependable! :) 10/10 recommend living here.

My first option for a nice place to move from a house with a dirty housemate.
Clean, well-located, and good management. Even, a staff member (Qarnissa) generously offered to help me moved out and in, always with a smile and a good attitude; every time I think of OU Commons will associate with her.
You can save money by paying by quarter.
So far the only issue is an old, weak mattress. Also, made new friends to boost a little bit my social life haha.
Totally recommended.

I was highly disappointed in my experience with university commons, and it takes a lot to make me really angry.
Here are just a few things that made the experience bad for my roommates and me (some of this stuff is no big deal, but after a while the little stuff adds up too):
-garbage disposal didn't work (wasn't replaced until 2nd semester)
-toaster stopped working (never got replaced)
-hot water went out (took the maintenance folks about a week to actually fix the issue)
-laundry machines were broken (took them three weeks to replace)
-and yes, like everyone else, our apartment got

Probably worst place to live in Athens. They will literally try to bleed you of your money. Random inspections in which you're at school and they come in and find something wrong with your apartment and bill you for the repairs. Parking is horrible, policy and it's overcrowded. They won't hesitate to tow you without warning. Staff in the office is awful and tends be mean without any reason, you question any of the fines or problems with your apartment they will get even more angry at you. Overall you're better living literally in a cardboard box than here.

DON'T LIVE HERE. Check out the google reviews, they'll give you bogus security deposit charges. When they did our inspection we were told it was the cleanest apt. they'd ever seen after tenants had lived in it and we wouldn't get charged for anything. First of all they charged us $95 for a broken door frame that was fixed before we even moved into the apartment (which they did refund when we complained, they probably realized there was no way for them to defend it). Then we got charged $909.50 for a treatment for a "bedbug infestation". I've emailed multiple people
