Services
Each resident signs their own lease for their specific bedroom. So, if a roommate moves out, the other residents are not responsible for that person's rent. Please note that common areas are a shared space. Why is my rent not prorated? A rental installment is a payment made as part of a series of payments.

The Summit is a good spot for living off campus overall and the apartments themselves are spacious with high ceilings, and the maintenance requests are usually nice and quick. My issue living here is the lack of cameras, even in the mail room! I’ve personally had two packages stolen while living here, and know a few residents that have had their mail taken as well. After reading the review that explained there are no plans to add any cameras around the complex, one thing is clear: if you want your mail stolen at any given time, live at the summit :)

The Summit is a really nice apartment complex here at OU for students that are able to live off campus their junior year! My tour guide, Kylie, was extremely nice and was willing to answer any questions that my roommates and I had regarding what’s all included in our rent, what was offered to us as residents, etc.

I just signed a lease to live here starting in 2022, and the service and guidance was absolutely fantastic. This is especially for Megan Vesey, who's a leasing manager at the Summit. She was very transparent and helpful with everything from tours, fees, to the signing of the lease itself. I highly recommend going and seeing the place for yourself, and signing there if you feel like it's your future home. Megan was right there to clarify and point everything out, and that was super helpful. Great service all around!

This review is for Brian who works in maintenance. After putting in a work order, he was able to fix my toilet and door knob. There were a couple other things that needed to be replaced and fixed and he had no issues fixing them. I usually never have any issues with maintenance. He definitely went above and beyond! Thank you, Brian.

My biggest problem with the complex is safety. There are no cameras and barely any lights at night. I have had two friends have their cars broken into, and two friends whose cars were hit. One of those friends asked about cameras, but the leasing office staff said they did not have cameras in the parking lot and had no plans to put any in. There are only cameras near the office, which does not cover parking lots or any resident doors which is a personal safety issue. Recently, my catalytic converter was stolen while I was parked here. That is a very expensive and long process to have repaired.

I’ve lived here for two months.
Everyone in the leasing office is welcoming and professional. Thank you!
The maintenance team is outstanding. Their quick and detailed response to requests is commendable. A special shout out to Brian and Joe for their friendly yet professional “down to earth” approach of doing things.
I’m looking forward to experiencing more of this residential community’s positive interactions in our months to come.

After living at the Summit on two different occasions. The first was 2017-2019 and the second is 2020-2021. Both of those time frames, I have had positive encounters with the maintenance staff. Specifically, Joe and Brian have completed maintenance tasks in the timely manner. I have never been without any necessities for longer than a couple of hours.

I have had a really good experience living at this complex over the past 6 months. The facilities are well taken care of, and if there ever is an issue maintenance has been quick to respond. The front office staff has been great as well! A staff member named Megan made the signing process extremely simple and stress free for myself and my roommate, and she has jumped at every opportunity to help me whenever I have had an issue since. While the apartments seem like they are a little pricey, I found that with amenities and utilities included it makes the expense very worth it. If I were staying in

And now the police have just shown up at my door claiming that my panic button was pushed. It wasn't. But I had to provide identification to the damn police at my door. For something I didn't do.
The harassment is ASTOUNDING. Absolutely astounding. I caution ALL people of color from moving into this place. Unless you want the police showing up at your door for no reason, too.

Look, here is the real 411 from someone who has lived here for two years. The staff truly does their best to provide the best service to its residents. These include full disclosure of what the resident will be expected of, fair pricing for the luxuries that they are providing; gym, tanning, community events, QUICK repair service, etc., wonderful apartment set ups are complete with furniture and amenities, and SEPARATE BATHROOMS!

This place is the most disorganized and poorly managed apartment complex I've ever lived at. Lived here for two years and constantly had problems with one office worker telling me one thing and another saying the opposite. We moved out and magically damage appeared and they "lost" our move in forms. They make empty promises they cannot keep. Absolutely 100% not worth the price and hassle, they're looking to rip you off!

Had a good experience moving in. The staff was kind, friendly, and very helpful. Note that there are not any elevators, so moving heavy objects in and out may be difficult. Apartments were dirtier than expected, but I moved in early in the summer so I'm not sure if they do clean them after the previous tenant moved out. Individual rooms are spacious.

Summit is very nice if you are considering an inclusive experience. All the utilities are included and the facility has great furnished rooms with private bathrooms plus you have access to study room, movie theater, fitness center, tanning beds and pool. The facilities also have their own Buses (they come more frequently than other buses in the town) so you can go to uptown very easily. Especially if you are a student, living in a cheaper place than Summit might cost you a lot more with the utilities and other stuff Summit is providing. On certain days, they also serve free food & beverages

This place should honestly be shut down. It is truly saddening to see so many people have horrible experiences there. I lived there 2 years ago and just out of curiosity checked in to see if the place got any better. Apparently it's just as nightmarish as when I left. The management is the rudest you will ever encounter and when you move out they will try to fine you for things that never happened like: $200 for a stained mattress that was indeed spotless because I checked before I left. Plus extra bags of trash that you "left behind" when truly I did 5 checks around the place to

The Summit offers HUGE, fully furnished apartments at a rate comparable to anything you would find on Court St and much nicer. If you are looking for QUALITY apartments at a good rate this is definitely the place to be.
They have AMAZING residents events that you sure as hell aren't going to get anywhere else. Hot dogs to my door and breakfast at midnight? Thank you, Summit. The staff is extremely attentive to problems, I have never had a problem with them. Be kind, respectful and understanding and you will be treated the same way.
Maintenance is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. They are quick to fix

Do not live here! The staff are rude and speak to you with perfunctory scripted responses. They don't care about their residents, all they care about is getting every last penny out of them. Pam Jackson, the property manager, doesn't even respond to emails and it's impossible to contact her via phone or in person.
When you move out they will look for every little imperfection in the apartment and bill you for it even if you didn't cause it. They charged me $200 for a replacement mattress for a small 1 cm diameter mark on my mattress of unknown origin that could have easily

I have had the most amazing experience living at the Summit. My leasing manager, Carl Franz was very timely and quick to respond with any inquiries I had. He was also very helpful in matching myself with 3 roommates who shared the same interests, we ended up making a connection that's going to last far past our time at the Summit. The price of the Summit is very reasonable for all that is included: utilities, gym, pool, tanning, furnished apartment etc. Maintenance has always been timely in responding to any issues we have had. They are also great at building a welcoming community by having

I have been a resident for a year and I have found that according to sales consultants as long as you pay rent they don't care about the contract as much . I had issues with roommates so they moved me to another room known to be constantly fined for smoking in the room . I highly suggest you look somewhere else to live if you can - oh and i mention its expensive ? not worth it in my opinion.

Advantages: I've lived in a few places and never heard of an affordable apartment with so many amenities. It costs about $650 a month to live here, give or take, and I get a huge corporate-owned development with basic furnishings (bed, desk, chairs, living room with couch, TV stand, small kitchen); its own gym; internet cafe; TV-viewing room; movie theater (it plays DVDs and costs $50 to reserve); pool and shuttle service (for a one-time fee) to campus and downtown. Rent also includes wifi, cable TV (HD isn't available from what I can tell) and utilities.
