Dr. Johnson and her team are extremely professional and responsive. I had an appointment for 3 days out but my pain became intolerable. When I asked if they could schedule for something sooner, they didn't hesitate and got me in within 3 hours of my call. Overall, I'm extremely impressed with this office. I have had problems with other dentists. My complaint with other dentists centers on the fact they have refused to give me prevention advice, when I sought such!
A dentist, who made me gargle with colloidal silver, did half a procedure and required me wait to finish it, and the specialist refused to refer me to someone else.
So in the middle of a procedure, Dr. Johnson welcomed me with open arms!
She seems to exemplify emotional intelligence and she has demonstrated thinking outside the box solutions. Dr. Johnson seems to have a good heart that puts "patients before profits" as the saying goes

Wellness dental is fantastic. I had a terrible dentist growing up which gave me dental visit anxiety. This place has changed my outlook on dental visits. They are kind, caring, and professional. I was concerned about doing my deep cleaning follow up with the COVID pandemic. However, this place is going above and beyond to keep everyone safe while still providing 5 star care. My past experience has been pleasant however today, one staff member tried to tell me “legally” I had to do what they said with regards to my dental devices.
Needless to say, it made zero sense that they had legal control over my body so I asked to speak with Dr J and she was unavailable at the time.
After 10 to 15 mins of trying to explain that I just wanted the cleaning service I had booked and not receiving this service, I left explaining to the sweet receptionist that I was being asked to do something I’m not comfortable doing.

Now I am not a saint by any means. I hadn't been to the dentist in ages(3-4yrs).
I came to Wellness Dental by word of mouth.
Saturday and Evening appointments are appealing. You don't find these hours with many dentists. THERES YOUR ONE STAR.
Wellness Dental lost the other 4 STARS. With the following.
I had a full mouth deep cleaning, whitening, and a few fillings by my request or due to cavities. Either way bad work all around. I am still pleading

They're so great!! The girls in the front are sooo friendly and helped me save money. They also let you listen to Spotify during your appointment. I was so nervous about going to a new dentist in Austin, but I am so glad I found this place. Everyone is so kind. Plus they're open on Saturday. I highly recommend it!

From the time I walk into her office and get a warm greeting from the receptionists who schedule, to Carrie who is my wonderful hygienist, cleaning my teeth til they sparkle, Dr. Johnson has created a great "dental home" for me.
My grandchildren, now ages 7, 9, and 12 years have been Dr. Johnson's patients for years and they just love going to her, as do their parents.
I've referred so many of my family and friends

I am so thankful that I went to see DDS Francisca Giple-Johnson because her and her staff made me feel comfortable. The fillings that I had for over 10 years cracked and fell out leaving a huge hole and in pain. I don't do well with the dentist because of past bad experience and I was embarrassed by my teeth, but Wellness Dental made me feel comfortable and unashamed of my teeth. I don't do well with needles, but I will be honest you can't really feel the numbing needle at all. The whole staff is so welcoming when you arrive to when you leave. I recommend everyone to go to Wellness

Dr. J and her staff are so professional, genuinely nice, personable, warm, helpful, friendly, caring, honest, fun, and masters of their craft. I could keep going but we’d be here all day. The Clinic takes patient as a business opportunity. The periodontal cleaning was charged more then a 1000$ for first session, second session still remaining and they would be charging another 1000 for that. I would strongly not recommend that clinic (business).
When I spoke about the charges they told me its Insurance that is telling them to charge that outrageous amount just for cleaning.
Service is OK nothing outstanding about that.
They make a nice plan for me costing insurance about 12000$ and my out of pocket 3000$, I would not even go for my second cleaning appointment, its a shame that

I'm new to Austin from New York and needed to find a new dentist. I had tried calling a couple of places that didn't have appointments until July or August (it's April right now!), when I realized Wellness Dental was right on my doorstep. I submitted a request online for an appointment in a week's time and got a call back from them to let me know that appointment was scheduled, but if I wanted something sooner they could fit me in tomorrow.

I walked by Wellness dental while going to get something to eat. Talk about divine intervention. As I am new to the area and needed some major dental work done I made an appointment for the following day.
The staff is friendly, welcoming and professional. They took the time out to talk with me and help me to ease my fears of having my procedures done. I was very embarrassed because of the amount of dental work needed however they made me feel at ease and did not make me feel bad about my current dental health.

I have been to Dr. Johnson 5 times and each visit was a positive experience. The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable; they provide excellent care. I feel like I am cared for from how my teeth are cleaned, to when Dr. Johnson works on my teeth, to questions answered at check out. We are all greeted with a smile and eye contacted is maintained. I tell others about Dr. Johnson and the Wellness Dental practice. Each person on Dr. Johnson's staff is a keeper. Okay, it's true, I really appreciate the cool sunglasses and headphones!

Dr Johnson and her team are amazing, scrupulousely honest, and in denistry this matters. The office is serene, clean and elegant. They will do all the can to put you at ease, she has small nimble hands, even will hide the syringe from people who are afraid of pain. They also have a device that they use on your gums that will not make you feel the shot.
