My mom has lived here for over 20years, her apartment has NEVER been refurbished. She lives in floors that have worn out vinyl and cabinets that have peeled cabinets. She pays a luxury price for an apartment that looks like squalor. Its embarrassing to her. She us almost 90 yrs. Old and was told SHE HAD TO MOVE her furniture out herself, and then they would come in to restore the apartment. What 90 year old could do that? If she lives in squalor, then Why should she get rent raises? This is what you get for loyalty and paying rent in time. I wish I could post a picture of her apartment! Thumbs

Lived here previously about a year ago or more and there are some pros and cons to this place.
Pros:
-Very quiet neighborhood
-Size of 2bed 1bath was perfect for us
-Move in/out was relatively seamless
-Proximity to everything isnt bad
-Washer and dryer in unit was great
-Maintenance guy was AWESOME!
Cons:
-Maintenance issues ignored by front desk
-Rent is higher than comparable apartments
-All of our appliances were outdated, noisy, and barely worked (loud and shaking dish washer, microwave sounded like a jet engine taking off, and refrigerator sounded like it was going to fall apart

The workers thought I was black and wouldn't let me in the pool. They called me the N word
