The story of Marie's Cafe began in Paris, France where Marie's parents opened one of the first Vietnamese Fusion food stores in Paris, carrying imported Vietnamese foods and the flavors of Marie's mother's, Thu's, original and delicious recipes. Especially popular were her Vietnamese eggrolls and Pate Chaud, a meat pie infused with Vietnamese and French flavors.
So popular were the eggrolls and Pate Chaud that they were sold out constantly and ordered weekly by other businesses to sell in their storefronts. That heritage of delicious and inventive cooking was passed on to Thu's daughter, Marie, where she has continued to innovate French-Asian flavor and modernized it with American flair, here in Simi Valley.

Services
All of our Banh Mi sandwiches are served on a French roll and include our house-made pickled carrots and daikon (mild Japanese radish), cucumber, jalapeno, and cilantro. Don't forget to ask for our dynamite sauce!. Like our banh mi but want it on rice? No problem! One of my absolute favorite lunch spots. If you havnt tried them out, you 100% should!!! This little restaurant serves French/Asian cuisine. The picture I've added is of their miso pulled chicken banh mi sandwich. The service is always 5☆ and the food is amazing. I also like to get a Thai tea with rainbow jelly!!!!!! Go show them some ❤️

Came from out of town to find this amazing cafe! This is probably the best bahn mi I’ve had in years (we got the original pulled pork) and some very tasty French pastries! They’re currently only doing take out, but even ordering at the door for three people’s worth of food and boba only took 12 minutes.

Absolutely my favorite place in Simi, the food is always excellent and fresh, the boba is authentic, and the pastries are to die for. Always stop by when I'm driving by the place and the owner and staff are some of the friendliest people ever. Do yourself a favor when you're in the area and stop by.
