I can't thank you enough for the continued support through some challenging times. This year, our biggest dilemma has been a commercial real estate market increase of 30%! Unfortunately, we could not sustain the business with such a big increase in rent, and we didn't think that passing the cost on to the consumer was acceptable.
Services
At Body Aligned we believe that Pilates is for life! It's not just an isolated hour of physical activity. The flow of movement in Pilates will carry over into your day-to-day life by improving body awareness, proper alignment, posture and mobility through all the twisting, bending, lifting and flexing you do every day.
Natalie received a bachelor's degree in exercise science from the University of Montreal, Canada, and studied at the College of Osteopathy in Montreal. She is a Certified Polestar Pilates instructor trained under the direction of Shelly Power and Brent Anderson, and also a Pilates Method Alliance member.
Pilates is a form of exercise that was created by Joseph Pilates to provide the perfect balance between Body and Mind. Pilates exercises are designed to develop your body in proper alignment, strengthen your core and lengthen your muscles. The continued practice of Pilates will correct your posture, help your balance and coordination, and leave you with a long sleek physique and re-energized mind.
All reservations requires a 24-hour cancellation notice. If you cancel within less than 24-hour notice, we will do our best to fill your spot with someone from the waitlist. In the event that we do, you will be early cancelled. Each reformer group class is geared towards building strength and flexibility while emphasizing proper alignment.
The GYROTONIC method is an original, and unique movement practice that offers similar benefits also derived from Yoga, Tai Chi, and dance. GYROTONIC exercise sequences are composed of spiraling, circular movements, which flow together seamlessly in rhythmic repetitions, with corresponding breath.

GYROTONIC methodology allows users to stretch and strengthen muscles, while simultaneously stimulating and strengthening connective tissues in and around the joints of the body. These exercises are synchronized with corresponding breathing patterns, thus enhancing aerobic and cardiovascular stimulation and promoting neuro-muscular rejuvenation.

I really love this studio. I tried the Yoga class, which was very beneficial. I've always been a bit intimidated by Yoga, and afraid to start as a beginner. But the instructor was wonderful, and I was able to do almost everything (or a modification that she gave me). I highly recommend this studio. The energy feels wonderful because of the sunny, open layout and happy people.

I absolutely love Body Aligned because it's done exactly what it says: aligned my body. I walk taller, feel stronger and more confident, and have no more back pain because of the work I've done in this studio. I say "work"...but it's more like fun. It's such a light, bright, peaceful-yet-energetic environment in which to learn how to properly move my body. And it's also in such a convenient location at Platt & Boulevard...with easy parking on either side of the building. Love coming here!!!

Body Aligned is hands-down the best Pilates studio in Tampa. Years of basketball, skiing and cross-fit have taken their toll on my body, but Natalie is getting me stronger and more flexible in ways I never thought possible. I never fully realized the destruction all of my "guy sports" were doing to my spine, but I now know that there is a more constructive way to keep in shape.
And yes, the barre class left me in a quivering puddle of sweat... but in a good way!
