Yes store open inside for new bicycle purchase and accessories, limited to 4 persons inside store at a time. Correctly fitting a bicycle to a person is important for comfort. It involves several measurements that need to be taken with the person on the bicycle: seat height, distance from seat to handle bar, handle bar height, and distance from seat to floor for individual leg length.

Everyone has a different definition of comfort and all of these measurements are needed for the perfect ride. Charts are not individualized and are only a guide. We offer a full line of Cannondale, Fuji, and other fine bicycles as well as a wide selection of parts and accessories. You'll experience family service and enjoy quality products backed by nearly 60 years of history of value and reliability.

Terrible service and expensive, they don't really fix your bike and always delay a few extra days on returning it back to you. You will find much better and reliable service just a few miles from here in Glen Ellyn or Winfield!

Really easy to work with, came in and got my freewheel replaced after numerous failed attempts by myself. Charged a good price as well. I’ll be back to look around.

Best bike shop around! Professional, knowledgeable, helpful staff. Every time I have been there the owner is there! Bought a new Cannondale bike from them. Needed a couple very minor adjustments. The owner took care of it right away when I went back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. They really know how to fit a bike and take the time to be sure you get the right bike for you!

I needed a small adjustment on my bike that I could not do myself. I knew that this is a very busy time for them, but nevertheless they did my repair. I am very grateful for their expertise and surpassing kindness.

Great reviews online however my experience was subpar. Waited in line for 30 minutes just to have a cranky man tell we can’t help you. I get that part because I was looking to repair a fat tire which is not typical in I guess. Looks like their practice is busy so they have no time or place for customer service. I know they could have acquired my needed part. Just an FYI unless u fit the customer profile....ull b disappointed

Ordered the bike on Monday. Was estimated the bike would arrive by Friday or next Monday. The bike arrived, was set up, and in my hands on Wednesday! Friendly service as always from Doug and the guys at the shop. I ordered the Cannondale Trail 8 and absolutely love it. Definitely my go to place from now on!

I recently bought a bike from Midwest Cyclery and the experience was great. They won’t try to push a carbon super-bike on you if that’s not what you need or want. Not only have I been extremely pleased with the bike itself (a Cannondale Quick 7), which is perfect for the type of riding I do, they provided some free maintenance “tweaks” during the break-in period. Since we now live in the era of online-shopping, it is worth mentioning that I paid the same amount I would have paid online, yet by purchasing at a local shop I had a store standing behind my purchase. Overall…a great experience

I've purchased about 8 bikes from Doug at Midwest over the years. Midwest always delivers honest advice, fair pricing, and excellent service. Whenever people ask me where to go for a rock solid local bike shop, I steer them here.
