Robert Emigh started in the jewelry industry in 1981 managing a premier jewelry store in the center of Clearview Mall in Butler. Bob stayed there for 16 years, and then he opened a small jewelry store beside the old Penn Theater on Main Street in Butler.
Bob's son, Zach, served 4 years in the Marine Corps. Infantry, with a combat deployment to Afghanistan. After being Honorably Discharged, Zach decided to study at the prestigious Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, California to get his degree as a Graduate Jeweler.

I took a ring to Emigh Jewelry to be checked and repaired. Bob gave an estimate for 300 dollars. When I got home I noticed the drop off receipt was written for 375 dollars. I called to speak with Bob expecting it to be an honest mistake. Bob was rude and pretty much gave me a take it or leave it attitude. I was shocked. I took it somewhere else and had the repairs done beautifully for 250 dollars. This experience left me wandering how many other customers Bob has done this to. I definitely learned my lesson.

The Emigh family has taken great care of us since our engagement over 5 years ago. My only complaint is that their location was not open yet- therefore I bought my wife’s engagement ring elsewhere. However, they have treated it like it was their own when it came to getting the first and second wedding bands soldered. Zach took great care in making sure all of the stones were secured and the ring was perfect before the solder. We are from butler but live out of state, so our turnaround time has to be quick- and they ALWAYS deliver. I will be a lifelong customer of this place.
