My name is Tiffany Bennett, and I am a classically trained instructor offering Pilates lessons suitable for all ages, abilities, shapes, sizes, genders and activity levels. At Be Real you can expect custom-tailored lessons geared towards your body's unique needs. You can also count on body positivity in an environment free of judgements and body shame.

Think Pilates isn't for you? Be real! All bodies- from athletes to dancers, strippers, strutters, strollers, students, nine-to-fivers, farmers, healers, yogis, mamas, dads, aunties, grandfolks, and cousins, too -are deserving of the benefits of this dynamic and diverse method of exercise.

My name is Tiffany. I am a classical Pilates instructor (Joseph Pilates>Romana Kryzanowska>Sari Mejia Santos>Tiffany Bennett) and queerdo from an Oklahoma trailer park. I am passionate about, and committed to body movement, body acceptance, community, the radical liberation of all bodies and beings, and Pilates.
I offer private, semi-private, and group Pilates instruction in a private studio off of Piedmont Avenue. If you are unable to travel to the studio I am available to teach remotely online, or to make house calls. Please contact me directly for my house call rates and range of service. Sessions are 50-55 minutes in length.
What is Pilates? In the simplest terms, Pilates is a method of controlled stretch and strength. It is a non-impact system of exercise that utilizes various apparatus to emphasize precision and proper alignment. Who can do Pilates? Everyone. All bodies, regardless of ability, fitness level, size or shape, can benefit from the Pilates method.

Tiffany has changed my life! I have been seeing her every week for almost four years. When we started, I had been recently diagnosed with a chronic illness that makes exercise challenging. I was out of shape and any movement was hard for me. Tiffany was compassionate, patient, and incredibly skilled at adapting the exercise to my abilities. Without her sessions, I would probably be bedbound. Instead, my body is strong and constantly getting stronger. As I am separated by these United States I have yet to have the pleasure of taking a class at Be Real Pilates with Tiffany but I am writing this review to comment on Tiffany's amazing commitment to the health of the people she works with. She is currently advising me on some health stuff and her support and encouragement is making this process a delight. I look forward to getting out to the Bay soon and leaving a second comment on her Pilates skills!

I have been seeing Tiffany for lessons for about 10 weeks, and looking back, I am amazed at how far I've come already. It's surprising because the lessons themselves are not as excruciating as I imagined they might be. She has sneakily increased the intensity of my workouts each week so that I am working with twice the resistance I started at, but due to my increased strength, I've barely noticed. What I have noticed is the complete absence of my chronic low back pain, as well as a significant reduction in the little twinges of pain here and there from regular activities like

Tiffany has been my pilates instructor for the past 6 months. I was completely new to pilates when I started with her so I can't compare her to other instructors, but she has made pilates very accessible to a newbie like me. Patient and warm, she is a generous and calm gal who knows a ton about bodies and their maladies. She has overcome some major challenges and is a real inspiration also.

I have an infant who comes to pilates with me. Tiffany is super accommodating and even holds her while instructing me if the baby makes a fuss. My post-baby body is basically my pre-baby body now, thanks

Tiffany is a gem in the Pilates world. She's not only a phenomenal teacher, but she also has an incredible heart. From the moment you enter her fabulous studio, you know you're in good hands. Pilates is not an easy workout, but it will make you feel amazing and you'll get actual lasting results.

I've done a lot of Pilates over the years and can confidently say that Tiffany really knows her sh*t. She studied Classical Pilates in NYC with the best of the best and it truly shows.

I recently began taking private lessons at Be Real Pilates. I'm thoroughly impressed. Tiffany takes a simultaneously rigorous and compassionate approach to her work with clients. There have been times when I needed modifications because of health issues. Tiffany worked with me to make sure that my body/mind got exactly what it needed in those moments. I look forward to our lessons every week. I enthusiastically recommend Be Real Pilates - it really is perfect for all bodies!

I have worked with Tiffany on and off for a couple years, and in the last 8 months have gotten a regular schedule going. I have chronic low back and sciatic pain, which is what initially brought me to pilates. I now see Tiffany 1 or 2 times a week, and can really see the improvements in my strength.

Tiffany is a truly excellent teacher and makes me feel so comfortable and safe in learning and trying new things. She offers wonderful encouragement and her hands on approach really helps me understand where to focus during each exercise. While classical pilates is full of subtly, I can always tell
