Dan Sotelo has always had a passion for anything on two wheels. At an early age Dan started road-racing motorcycles in Southern California and soon became a podium regular in his class. Dan's first introduction to cycling was at LA's famous Griffith Park and the Rose Bowl training rides, when criterium races were all the rage.
Dan soon became a regular and shortly found himself on the Category 1 professional race circuit competing throughout California and Mexico. A few years (and several pounds) later, Dan gave up professional racing to combine the natural mechanical abilities he honed while tuning his motorcycles with his love of cycling.

Dan did a great job fixing my son's bike, which was in pretty bad shape, needed a bit of fine tuning, with loose parts and a broken pedal. Would highly recommend Dan's service for any of your bike repair needs. We will certainly be back and looking forward to getting all our bikes serviced here from now on!

I always has been a do it your self kind of guy. I was going to bleed my bike's hydraulic brake myself. I am so glad I found Don and his business. He knows what he is doing and does it well. I am so glad with his service and I am sending three more bikes to him which needs new tire and tube.
He was able to tell me why my brake failed over the phone and taught me a lot things I don't know about bicycle. I don't have to buy a whole set of bike tools / supplies at home and I can get my weekend back.
Only thing is Don gets really busy, so you need to have a fair expectation for

Saw a few good review on Yelp, so i went in to check it out for myself. And i was nothing but happy.
Dan doesn't just know bike, he's super passionate about it. And always willing to go the extra mile for everything that he do.
Ask him his story.
Ask him about his long racing career(prob before you were born too), and how he met and became good friends with the Shimano family.
Ask him how he designed some of the bike concepts/technology/parts in the 80s, so we have what we have today,
And he can talk for days, but he got every rights too---When you ride and train with the Gary Fisher

Dan is awesome! If you are in need, he'll go the extra mile to fix it. He'll encourage you learn how to maintain your own bike and will take you through his process. Yes, he'll talk your ear off and yes, he might lose stuff, but he knows his bikes. He's also currently the only bike mechanic on Mercer Island so get in line.

I brought in a bike that other bike shops had told me that it was impossible to repair. I came here to see if Dan would have a different opinion.
Dan looked at it and told me that he would be able to fix it in 10 minutes. He explained to me what problem it was and what he would be doing. He was friendly and courteous. He also answered all the questions my kids had. As he had promised, he did fix it within 10 minutes. His price was very reasonable. I am very satisfied.
I would highly recommend this bike repair shop.

Our group found Dan's shop after a crash and desperate need for a wheel repair.
The shop is run out of home garage and was a bit difficult to find as we kept looking for a retail location. Now that we know where it is it will be easy to find going forward.
We were lucky to find a place open on Memorial Day and he promptly fixed the rim enough for us to get home, popped a replacement tire on there and wanted to do it for free!! The most he would take is $5 and only after we insisted. "First time is free" he says!
Dan seemed very knowledgable and personable and we enjoyed talking

Dan is unorganized and dishonest. When I brought the bike in I asked for a quote three times, he kept saying "I will give you a good deal". I asked him to match the pedals on my new bike, to my existing shoe clips. Instead he threw out my clips and put a new style and lower quality of clip and pedal, charging me for both. He then accused me of lying when I asked where my old (and more expensive) clips where. My bike was not ready on the day it was scheduled for pick up, but he never called to tell me this. When I arrived, he had kept no record of service so I had to help him add up my
