We love walking University of Akron students through our off-campus student apartments to show them what life at University Edge has to offer! While we'd love to show you around our apartments in person, we know that's sometimes not plausible. Here we'll highlight some of the stops we make on our off-campus apartment tours and spots our residents enjoy.
The Annex is what we consider a quieter/calmer version of The University Edge. There are fewer units (17 beds total, in 6 units) which means less people coming in and out of the building. The furnishing and amenities within the units are all the same as those in the main building, so the quality of living is the exact same!

When searching for a student housing complex for University of Akron, look no further! The location is great, just across the street from campus, while also conveniently having a small line of restaurants and shops right in front. It’s like living in dorm but with the freedom and flexibility of having your own apartment. Pricing is great and the staff is awesome. Had the opportunity to speak with Lauren in leasing and I was immediately sold. Go UE!

I have been visiting my friend who lives at University Edge for 3 years now and I have had a great experience when I stop in! It’s always so clean and the leasing office girls are so sweet to talk to. Definitely recommend anyone in the Akron area to live here because it’s steps away from campus and it’s SO NICE.

After my student spent her Freshman year in a dorm located on Exchange St. , we started to look for a more private place for her to live. We toured other apartments but after seeing Edge Apartments the search was over. It is very roomy and quiet. The entire year is less expensive than the dorm she was in the first year! University Edge is so cute! I came here to visit some friends and we studied in study rooms. We also would meet up every Thursday and watch Grey’s Anatomy on the huge TV in the hangout lounge. I was inquiring about living here and Michelle in the office was SO nice and gave me all of the information I needed to know about the place. Great experiences

I am going on my third year living at University Edge and I have nothing but good things to say about my experience! My unit was nicely cleaned and prepped before I moved in. I was able to fill out a form for a room preference and floor preference and my roommates and I got just what we wanted. The maintenance staff does a great job getting the work orders done in a timely manner. Overall, my leasing experience has been great and I’m excited to finish out my senior year living at University Edge!
