We had a similar experience to another review here. The woman we spoke with was great until we met in person, and then it was like she was totally incompetent. We drove 5 hours to see an apt, and then when we arrived we were told there was no way of knowing if it would be available during our target move-in date. This was after we already made it clear when we could move in. We were shown a unit, and after explaining our timeline for a move, AGAIN, we got an application and left. Everything after that made even less sense.

Don't rent from these unprofessionals. Apparently leaving a few days after the beginning of the month is a big deal. Being told several times - borderline harassment - that I have to pay for the whole month if I stay past the 1st is just pathetic.
Yes, I know I have to pay the entire month. Yes, I know I can't use my deposit towards the payment. I get it people, no need to keep repeating it. Sheesh..

I had an appointment set up Monday 4/10/17 to view an apartment @ 12 noon on 4/11/17, that I was interested in. I arrived around 11:40am. I informed the lady that was in the leasing office that I had a appointment today @ 12 noon but I was a little early. She then says to me I emailed you an hour ago to inform you that the apartment was rented out "late yesterday afternoon". My response to her was why didn't you call and let me know about this sudden change and that I haven't checked my email because I was taking care of the things I needed to do for the appointment I had today at noon. Lived in one of their apartments for about a year. The land lady was always very kind to me, even offered to pick me up from the airport when I arrived and I didn't even have to ask. The apartment itself is a bit old, but if anything broke they came out and fixed it right away and it was clean when we arrived. My roommate and I always clean up our apartment when a lease is over, and unlike our other landlords at our other apartments who still try to take what they can out of our security deposit, Greenwich Manor gave it back to us in full. Very kind and very fair, would highly recommend renting
