Ellen best describes why she teaches as a simple desire to encourage others to experience the same joy as she gets from her own practice. She believes that a strong mind body connection means more mindful and purposeful movements and a tougher workout. The body is meant to move & she wanted to create a space for people to do so.

Services
Hi-Pi (High Intensity Pilates) is a combination of high-intensity movements and Pilates. This class will be ever-changing and may include heavier weights, jump-board, or other props to up the intensity and really challenge your practice! Our effective small group, reformer pilates classes utilize spring-controlled resistance to build core strength, increase flexibility, endurance and coordination.
Expect a custom session designed to meet your unique goals, tailored precisely to your body. Suitable for people new to pilates and wanting some extra attention while they begin. Privates are also perfect for people working with injuries, and other conditions. With one on one instruction, you can really learn what it means and how to strengthen your core, increase your flexibility, and improve your posture.
No walk ins - classes MUST be booked prior to class time via @mindbody Visit the schedule tab to do so. Still accepting and booking private and semi private sessions for those who want to wait to get back into a group class setting. Cleaners and wipes are available for you to wipe down your equipment before class starts if you wish to.

Move Pilates has changed my life! I have always exercised daily. Until my journey into the classes I was not able to accomplish my goals. I’m finally back to the size I used to be and feel amazing!
The best part is I’m having a great time! Every class is different. There is no time to get bored. Every instructor has their own style and not one class is the same. I highly recommend Move Pilates for everyone.

The only class I’d wake up at 5am for!! I absolutely love coming to MOVE pilates and have been since December 2019 when it opened. Ellen is an amazing and extremely knowledgeable instructor who never fails to make each class fun! I’ve recommended this studio to my own patients countless times after they’ve finished their Physical Therapy journey, as I’ve seen Ellen’s ability to monitor form and modify activities to meet individuals needs.

MOVE is quite possibly my favorite place on this planet. I’ve been doing Pilates for two years, and started going to MOVE in July 2020. Ellen and Sarah are amazing instructors and everyone I have met in the studio has been so welcoming and friendly. Pilates has completely changed my life as I have scoliosis and this exercise has been better than anything I have tried in the past, including physical therapy. The hour I spend in the studio is the best hour of my day!

I've always wanted to try Pilates and was so excited when MOVE opened up in my area. Ellen is an amazing instructor and makes you feel comfortable no matter what level of experience you're starting at. I've had multiple injuries over the years from playing sports and Pilates has been the perfect low impact workout that is still challenging yet sustainable for me!

I took my first reformers Pilates class with Ellen at Move a few weeks ago. I was a little nervous to try out a new fitness class, but Ellen was incredibly knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the entire process. She provided a welcoming environment for beginners and advanced students alike. From signing up online to making sure I was comfortable completing the moves during class, it was a wonderful experience! Not to mention the amazing women I met in class as well.

I have not done Pilates in years and I am so excited MOVE is here. My first class was rise & jump! I loved the jumping to get a little cardio. I was definitely sore the next day, I felt like I worked every single muscle in my body! Ellen is an amazing hands on instructor, she made class super fun & it went by fast. Can’t wait to take another class!

Although I have never been to Move Pilates Studio in person, I live in Florida, I follow and have made a friendship with Ellen the owner via social media. Excellent reformer Pilates classes and instruction. Ellen has a great balance between being professional and personable. This was my first experience with the reformer and Ellen walked me through each step. I’ve since taken several classes and still love it. Each class is different and the moves and resistance are customized to your fitness level. So if you are a beginner, don’t hesitate to sign up now. And if you are a seasoned athlete, Ellen will definitely challenge you. Such a great workout!!
