Lennie Fenton has been involved in fitness and athletics her entire life. After completing her first triathlon, Lennie became determined to learn more about the human body and how it works. She began her Pilates journey in 2007 when she took her first Reformer Pilates class with Tiziana Buzzi. Within just a few months, she was hooked, realizing how truly effective Pilates is.
In 2012, Lennie went to school to study Exercise Science and Nutrition. She would then go on to receive her Advanced Mat and all Pilates Apparatus certification through Power Pilates. Lennie is excited to share a fun but challenging approach to teaching Pilates while her clients experience improved flexibility, definition, body awareness and strength.

Services
Pilates is a body conditioning routine that helps build flexibility, muscle strength, and endurance in the legs, abdominals, arms, hips, and back. It puts emphasis on spinal and pelvic alignment, breathing, developing a strong core and improving coordination and balance. Pilates' system allows for different exercises to be modified in range of difficulty from beginning to advanced.
Invented by Pilates founder, Joseph Pilates, the Pilates Reformer is a piece of equipment that provides resistance with a series of springs and straps. It will improve strength, coordination, flexibility, balance, and stability. While Pilates training focuses on core strength, it trains the body as an integrated whole.

I have been taking mat Pilates with Lennie for years. Not only has my core become stronger, but I have learned how to use my core to move my body more efficiently and safely. My lower back has also become much stronger and I can't remember the last time it hurt! Lennie does a great job at challenging the class but still making it fun. She also does a good job and scaling the movements to work for the various ability levels in the class and for those in class with various joint/muscle pain.
