Great service and good food. First time here for me for dinner. We sat in the very far back of the restaurant and it was a packed room. My buddy said he would not want to sit back there again with all those people in one small room.
I got the spaghetti and meatballs which was delicious. The side salad was really good too. Our waitress was wonderful and she even poured our beers in to our glasses for us.
I would come back here again to get my pasta craving satisfied.

My Husband and I are in love with La Bottega restaurant in Vancouver. Seriously the best Italian food we’ve ever had. We ate great Italian food in Italy and the chef here beats the “real” thing every time! You… can taste how fresh the food is. I didn’t think there was a huge difference between frozen ravioli and fresh, but when the ravioli melts in your mouth, you realize the grandeur you’ve been missing! And the wine selection is divine. This was a group of 8 and all of us thoroughly loved our dish (except for the nut who ordered kale and farro salad - shocker). I'm an avid cook and one of our guys goes to amazing restaurants all over the country and he can't stop talking about it.
The service was great, the food was awesome, dessert was scrumptious, and the wine selection was fantastic.
A week later and I'm bringing a friend for his birthday. Great spot in downtown Vancouver!

We got lasagna and mushroom ravioli. i was thoroughly impressed with both dishes .. cooked perfectly and good flavor. i ordered a extra side of their white cream sauce and the flavor of that sauce was amongst the best i’ve ever had in any pasta sauce …so i’m convinced you can’t go wrong with any of their dishes. and the red mountain blend wine was SO GREAT. we’ll be back a lot, especially appreciative of the prices.

I cannot believe that for the amount of time that I have lived in Vancouver, I just now have experienced this absolute gem of a restaurant. I have passed by La Bogetta countless times, but never stepped through the door. My son and I decided to try this restaurant for my birthday and I am so happy that we did!
The atmosphere was amazing with so much to look at including wonderful artwork. The staff was absolutely outstanding, friendly and attentive.
Our appetizer, bread, main course and dessert tasted so good that every bite was a pure joy. We decided that we will visit this restaurant again

We have visited La Bottega twice in 3 days. First time it was for a late take out dinner and the 2nd time for desert only.
First time experience was positive. It was about 20 minutes to close and the staff was still eager to help us. I ordered salami sandwich and my fiancé ordered a soup. The sandwich (I forgot the name) was vey tasty. The bread was still fresh to my surprise, and I really enjoyed the garlic spread.
We had numerous questions about the deserts and the girl at the counter did not know the answers, however, she gladly got another employee to help us.

My sister and I visited on a Friday night. Got a table right away and service was amazing!
We started with the Roasted Tomato Bruschetta. The spiced honey was a delicious touch! Yummm.
My sister ordered the PENNE alla VODKA full sized and I had the AMATRICIANA, half. Both absolutely delicious.
They have a very robust wine list and employees were knowledgeable and articulate when giving suggestions.
Service and food was fantastic, highly recommend.

We came traveling from Colorado and decided to stop here craving some pasta. Well my life is ruined now because all I want is this penne dish I ordered and we're going back to Colorado tomorrow and my life is over... all I want is this penne and this delicious vodka cream sauce with tomato 😭❤ anyways I'm glad I got to taste it even just one time. Will have to make it my next travel goal to come back for this penne. I highly recommend this place!

The wife and I went in for dinner. We shared a Caesar salad, which was rich, tangy, and traditional with anchovies. She had the penne alla vodka with prawns. I had the Boar Ragu pasta. Hers had a nice note of pepper with a creamy finish. Mine was rich and hearty with great earthy flavor. Wine selection was quite impressive.
Service was a hair slow, but very friendly. Atmosphere is very hole in the wall cafe, but a great place for classic Italian flavors.
A little on the spendier end for a date night, but we will be back for sure.

This restaurant was a true Diamond in the rough and a delightful surprise!! Food was authentic and delicious, we ate every bite. Our waiter was amazing and offered a small wine tasting in order to pick a bottle of red wine from Italy that I was not familiar with, superb wine selections.
It was to our surprise that the owner was also the head chef and it showed. We will return in the near future- thank you Sean and La Bottega

La Bottega is everything I've wanted in a restaurant. I've known about it through its positive reviews and from passing by it on Main Street, but I wish I had visited it prior to just eating inside for the first time yesterday.

We were thrilled to visit La Bottega. My wife was carb loading for a race 30 minutes away, and so we decided she needed italian food.
The highest rated italian place anywhere nearby was La Bottega, and it deserved the rating.
I'd say the star of the show was the service. Everyone working there was fabulously friendly. Recommended food, brought out many water refills, simply a cheery band of people.
Immediately following the service I would say is the smoky mushroom ravioli. The flavor was outstanding. I'm a meat eater, and I could easily believe there was meat in that mushroom sauce

I loved my experience at The Bottega! I ordered carry out, which was made so easy by the great employees to order over the phone and they had everything ready really quickly.
I ordered the penne a la vodka and my husband got the seasonal lasagna, both of which were out of this world. The sauces were so creamy and in the perfect quantity compared to the pasta and other ingredients. Everything tasted so fresh and was in great proportions to either have one really big, filling meal, or one medium sized meal and leftovers.

Great people, delicious food, price is good for amount of food you get. Very friendly and very clean. It's a wonderful place. Food is made as you order it. They have a patio, and 2 big sections for seating. Wine is excellent not to mention they also have a local farm grocery in the day time if anyone needs anything while they eat.

A lovely Italian restaurant and deli shop. I had smoked mushroom pastas and periperi chicken - both had an excellent blend of flavor and taste. Their portion is on the smaller side. I saw others eating their stakes and I can't wait to try it next time! There are some tables outside along the street. During the pandemic they do take out mostly. This place is like a hidden gem.
