Took my car in for multiple oil leaks. Took them over a month to "fix" the leaks. Picked my car up and 10min down the road the car started leaking oil all over the ground. Took my car straight back to them instantly. My car is still there and has been for almost 2 months. (3 months including the initial repair).
They refuse to contact me. I'm always the one to call them asking for updates and I have to call 3-4 times in a row to get an answer. Their voicemail box is full. I've already paid them over $1700. Thinking about pressing legal action.
I just want my car back and fixed as I paid for.

Bought a 1999 Mercedes and took it there for an AC problem. I'm a pretty experienced amateur mechanic and could have repaired it myself but didn't have the time. They called back with an accurate diagnosis and reasonable repair options, recommending that we try the less expensive one first. I would not hesitate to use them again. Only problem I've had is they get busy and sometimes don't answer their phone on the first try.

Having had bad luck in my search for a good car mechanic, I gave Hermann's a shot. Despite my vehicles notorious issues, they were able to diagnose and pinpoint the cause of my high idle problem, and I was sent on my way without being hassled to buy parts or other services. It's hard to come across a shop that doesn't swindle you for something, so Hermann's has definitely earned my trust in terms of reliability, efficiency, and quality of labor. I will be returning for all my basic maintenance and servicing of my vehicle.

As a man who knows virtually nothing about car repair I often find it VERY intimidating when trying to price parts and service for my vehicles. After speaking with a couple of friends about options I heard Hermann's come up more than once so I decided to give them a try. I was not disappointed.
The pricing was great, service was performed timely, and they were extremely flexible with scheduling. I do not hesitate to rate them a 5/5 as they really went the extra effort to make this as painless of a process as possible. If you want your car in the best of car and want a great deal do not hesitate

I recently took my car here for new tires and a check engine light that wouldn`t go off. The staff were very patient and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain to me why the check engine light was on (and how to get it to go off). They also took the time to talk to me about the process for replacing my front tires.
I went in expecting to be taken advantage of because I know nothing about cars. However, they didn`t charge me for anything but the labor on changing and rotating my tires. Thanks Hermann`s.

Hermann's will now be my go-to carhop when I'm in the north end of Seattle. I own a Subaru and don't like taking it to shops that don't specialize in Japanese/foreign cars because I have always gotten better service and care at those which do. I recently moved to the Greenlake area and was looking for a new place to take my Subie for regular maintenance. I took a chance on Hermann's from a word-of-mouth recommendation, and I'm really glad that I did. They were upfront and prompt through my experience, and I'm very pleased with the service.

I am not much of a car lover, so I find my appreciation for repair companies like Hermann's goes through the roof when I get sideswiped or have a window smashed in the night, both of which have happened recently.
Not only was the work done according to my busy schedule, my car looks flawless. Definitely contact this place if things go wrong on the road for you, but hopefully you're luckier than I've been!

I recently tried Hermann's for the first time and I'm sold. Having recently moved across the country, I was in need of a new mechanic and hesitant to trust anyone new. I like to think I know a fair amount about cars but I've still been put in situations with questionable recommendations by mechanics. Here I never felt like they were trying to sell me anything I didn't need and my repair was completed quickly and efficiently. They even went out of their way to work around my work schedule. I will definitely return.

Hermann's International Auto Service at 6800 Roosevelt Way NE in Seattle (between 68th St & 69th St) has some of the best customer service out there in terms of auto care services. I had heard that the staff at Hermann’s International Auto Service was skilled but I was unprepared for how nice everyone was. These fine folks specialize in German, European and Japanese vehicles which make them invaluable to anyone who owns a foreign car.
My parents were visiting recently and their car started giving then problems. We stopped into Hermann’s on the recommendation of a friend who is also a mechanic

No one likes to shell out hundreds of dollars to fix an unexpected car malfunction, but Hermann's made the process easier with affordable pricing, knowledgable staff and a speedy process. When my car's AC went out during a particularly hot spell, Victor recharged my AC quickly and it was significantly cheaper than some of the other places I've looked at. All the staff was easy to talk to and they really knew what they were talking about. Hopefully I don't have another car problem anytime soon, but when I do, I'm definitely coming back to Hermann's!
