Stayed in the mt view room, the private patio gives the greatest view. the proprietor is the nicest lady, and the ladies in spa (my wife had Ruby, and I'm in spa coma and wish i remembered the ladies name sorry) gave the best couples massage and scalp services. the desert is not kind to the buildings and outdoor furniture, but its the cleanest, nicest pools, room and amenities. not many rooms, not many guests, nothing but peace and quiet and hot water to soak in.. We'll be back soon, and asking for Room 1.

Alright, I don't know how this spot got such high ratings but I'm going to be straight forward and say this is not it. We were definitely misled by the reviews on here. It's a cute spot that's very outdated and run down. There is only one bathroom with shower available for day spa guests.. and only one changing room with about 10 wooden lockers. When we arrived, they had no lockers available so we were either going to have to carry our stuff around or put it in our cars. A locker did eventually open up but we didn't feel comfortable leaving our belongings there. Also

I only recommend coming on a day pass the rooms are really old with stains on the furniture. The view is really amazing from here though and the waters feel healing. My room didn't have air conditioner and they just told me to open a window and took $50 off the bill. It was a miserable night and very hard to fall asleep.

Pools are cholorinated so you don't experience the pure hot springs you're thinking you will. Space is poorly kept (I.e. cushions aren't clean) and there is no water to drink. I felt like it wasn't what we thought we were getting.

This place is a joke, they have no vending machines, no food, no water machine or water available.. Massage was nice but extremely expensive.. We had a party of 3 and had to have our treatments all at different times due to there lack of workers so we where unable to even have a nice time together.. We spent no time there after our treatment it was to old run down and dirty.. Pool furnature was so rusty I was afraid of getting scratched and infected.. Just terrible...

We wanted a quick getaway, and found this hotel online. The owner made us feel warm and welcome upon check in, and we were surprised by the beautiful gardens, pool, and hot tubs. The room was clean and cozy, and we felt as if we were staying in someone's home rather than a hotel. Breakfast was great, and the massages we had at the spa were amazing. It was one of the most relaxing weekend getaways we've ever had. We will definitely be planning another trip here soon!

We really loved the "old world" atmosphere of this place. It's located on a rise above most of the rest of the town, so it has a nice view of the valley and mountains. The owners are very friendly and welcoming - and are personally involved in accommodating the guests. It has the feel of a small town, Italian guest house. The hot spring pools were enjoyable, and the breakfast provided was fresh and homey. Everything on the property seems to have history to it and might feel dated to some people while charming to others. Everything is clean, where it matters - the way a European traveler would expect

We just returned from a three night stay at Tuscan Springs Hotel. This was a first time for us with mineral pools and we really did enjoy the three pools. The temperatures were perfect in each one - the large pool being the coolest and the other two with the jets were hot and hotter. We used all three every day. I must say these were the cleanest hotel pools I have ever been in. The water is crystal clear and the tile was quite well kept and lovely. The entire pool deck area is full of chairs and loungers and tables and wonderful king size cabana type beds. There is a pleasant view of the

One star regarding customer service for reservations. For Mother's Day, my daughter tried to book a spa day package which included massages and facials for us both. Because my daughter was in recovery following surgery, we asked if the massage could be modified. She immediately shut it down implying no modifications could be done which was odd to me. I have a massage membership, so I get them frequently, and it is never a problem to modify massages due to reasonable requests. We asked her to discuss with the massage therapist, and she said she would call us back. She didn't ever call

Very nice boutique spa and hotel inside, wasteland outside. Lots of outdoor spaces to gather with friends, multiple pools and fireplaces, etc. Very exposed to the wind and windy roughly all the time, but the outdoor common areas are reasonably protected. Just don't plan on doing anything outside the walls.

Loved our short one stay in this little slice of paradise! It was so peaceful. The owners are kind and friendly. They have put so much attention to detail into ever piece of furniture and space. The pool deck and patios are beautiful. The breakfast is generous and delicious- waffles, English muffins, eggs, even avocados, and French press coffee. The beds are comfortable and the rooms spacious but cozy. Rooms are even equipped with some dishes and a corkscrew if needed. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I are spending the weekend in Pioneertown, about 30min from Desert Hot Springs. We wanted to experience some spa amenities and get a couples massage and I am SO glad we decided to book at Tuscan Springs.
Like other reviews, it seems to be an untapped treasure, a mini Italian villa with lovely mineral pools and a hot tub.
When you book a treatment, you get full access to everything. They have outdoor cabanas with large beds and plenty of distanced seating in the sun and shade surrounded by gorgeous plants and scenery.
They have a kitchen with a coffee bar which is a nice touch

Need some serious R&R? This is a place of respite, enjoying silence, feeling the desert breeze. Every corner of place has character. If your used to plain, box hotels, this is not the place for you. There are a few peeling tiles, wind whipped leaves on the ground. You got to a bit of funkiness to be here. It's full of 1940's iron work and light fixtures. At least 50+ separate seating areas, day beds, multiple patios. Last night we saw a few people, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The free breakfast is self serve, but lots of items to make breakfast your way. Our room

Love this hotel! It has so much charm and the pool area/hot tub is awesome. I didn't get to visit the spa but their menu of services looks amazing. The room is a nice size, very comfortable king bed, top notch air conditioner, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Free WiFi and parking.

My fiance planned a mini vacay as I have been super stressed at work and he wanted to take me away for the weekend.

I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to chillax, enjoy a massage and soak in a hot mineral spring. The owner greeted us warmly and gave a us a mini tour as we arrived. My fiance booked a deep tissue massage and it was fantastic.

The resort is so cute. I think there's only 11 rooms so you don't have to deal with crowded pools, etc., The theme is italy with a desert twist - the decor was so cute. There were so many sitting areas throughout. There were 3 different

My fiancée and I came here for an overnight stay and absolutely loved the place! It's incredibly charming and romantic and exactly what we needed to help us relieve stress. There's 3 different temperatures pool and spas to enjoy, and after that and a massage you will be relaxed and refreshed! We will definitely be back to visit again next year!

A small, elegantly decorated property! We stayed overnight for one night. The room itself was beautiful and felt so lux, and the king sized bed was so comfortable. The bathrobes were the most plushy robes I've ever felt. Breakfast was simple but satisfying. It was about $200 a night for us.

Some cons: The pools were dirty and it was crowded, not a very intimate experience. You can definitely hear the other rooms.

Enjoyed my stay here but it's probably a one and done :)
