Oak Brook Commons opened its first apartment building to residents in 1993 and continues today to offer a superior quality lifestyle for our residents in our 204 apartment homes. Privately owned and managed by Chuck Hoffman, who envisioned our community on the 50 picturesque acres of heavily treed, family owned property from the very beginning.
We invite you to come and experience the feeling of living in an apartment home that has been built with a distinctive eye for detail. Our open floor plans offer large furniture friendly living room with generous natural lighting, formal dining area for entertaining, large bedrooms and multi-use room, which can be an office, breakfast nook or a den!
It is equal to one months rent and is required when you submit an application on an apartment. We have the best 24 hour on-call maintenance, we are centrally located so it is a quick commute around Clifton Park & to Albany or Saratoga Springs. We offer a Yearly Membership discount to the YMCA. There is also a gym at the Community Care right at our South Entrance.
Lived here for 5+ years, while not the cheapest apartment, you certainly get a ton of value for your money. Large, spacious, clean apartments with open floor plans. Maintenance is very prompt and staff is friendly. The grounds are beautiful especially in Summer. I love this place. I am moving after only a year to be closer to family but this place is AMAZING.

Those lucky people with excellent judgement who choose Oak Brook Commons as their residence know how comfortable it is to live here. One & two bedroom apartments surrounded by country views of beautiful green and exquisite flowers, all conveniently private yet so close to restaurants, shopping and markets. I, Rick Kelsey and Marilyn Hunter have been so comfortable in our two bedroom apartment that seems like our own little house with so much space. The area is nestled in privacy, quiet and respectful. I’ve lived here for 3 years and the only reason why I’m moving is because I bought a home. Managers and staff are super nice and low key. Very quiet area, not a lot of kids at all, mostly seniors and adults who are older and settled. Maintenance is top notch. I never have any problems, not once. Love the privacy, spacious bedrooms, huge closets and scenery. Super relaxing and peaceful.

Oak Brook Commons is the best Place to live in the capital district. Everyone that works here takes pride in their work. Having met Valerie, Amanda, Eddie & Tony, they are all pleasant, warm, friendly & Professional! When I made a request it was taken care of right away. I wish I could give 10 stars! I have been so happy living at Oakbrook -- the staff and maintenance crew go above and beyond to take care of the residents. And these past couple of winter months, I have been so grateful for the hard work of the maintenance crew -- even with all the other regular maintenance activities they do all day long, they have been out during the wee hours to clear the snow, so that when I have to get up and leave early for work, the roadways and sidewalks are all clear. Very disappointed in how they do their application process. They were very quick to take my $1315 to hold the apartment I picked out with my two children but I was denied because my credit is bad due to my recent divorce. Not only did they deny me but they denied me the chance to start a fresh new life for my boys. I offered two months up front and they still said no. This place is a joke. From the day I entered Oak Brook Commons at its main entrance 19 years ago, I fell in love with the beauty of its park-like landscaping. It was the fall of the year and the trees were aflame with the colors of autumn enhanced by the beautiful flower beds of seasonal flowers amid well-groomed lawns. What impressed me about the complex was that the nature-like setting was not destroyed by the apartment buildings, but instead built into it. Clean, huge apartments, attentive staff!
We had the pleasure of living there for 1 year. We had a 2 bedroom 1 bath. The apartment is HUGE! Did not have one issue. 24 hour maintenance that was always able to be there within 5 minutes (only had to call them when I locked myself out). Ample amount of parking, quiet, always plowed and salted well during the winter. Landscape is always well maintained. They do not have a gym, pool or playground but is very close to the ymca, hiking and playgrounds. We have an active 2 year old who loved going for walks around the complex. I've lived here for a year now, and I really like it. The maintenance staff is super friendly and helpful, and every request I've made has been handled fast. I had to call once at 3 AM for a smoke detector gone haywire, and the guy couldn't have been friendlier. Snow removal is as prompt as possible, and they work around the clock. The apartments are relatively big and well-maintained. I'm happy here!

We love it here! After much searching around the area, we felt this was the best place to live and it's exceeded our expectations. The capital region seems to have a lot of "luxury" apartments are very expensive and seem to put all the rent into frills and amenities you don't end up using, leaving you with a pretty average, smaller space.
