I’m not usually one to review anything good or bad, but this place? Highly recommend stopping in. Marquessa (I probably butchered her name) is phenomenal and just a straight up nice person. The pastries and sweets are also amazing, but customer service is everything. I really don’t know why anyone would give this place anything but a gleaming review. 10/5 stars easy.

Thanks a gazillion to Marquessa for being patient listener, attentive to details and making the most amazing inside out Birthday cake for my son's 6th birthday on the 17th. A gorgeous looking cake , exactly what my son wanted and the look on his face was a sight to behold. Taste, softness , melt in the mouth absolutely 💯. This shall be my goto birthday cake place for a long time.

This is a little gem in the heart of Wayne. They have Wonderful pastries and glorious French cakes. Order your fancy yule log early (I pay ahead of time) it's kind of a madhouse on Christmas Eve and you don't want to get shut out. I love their croissants and multi layered Neapolitan treats. They have cookies and chocolates. They also have some savory treats and occasionally some French delicacies.

I love stopping by APD for a treat. Their croissants are heavenly and by far the best in the area: flaky, tender treats that leave your shirt hopelessly covered in crumbs. The napoleons are another favorite treat, and the doughnuts are the stuff of my dreams. I do wish they had a wider variety of cupcake options. Everyone is so helpful and I really appreciate that the employees are vaccinated and wear their masks properly. The prices are fair when you consider how much time, skill, and butter it takes to make these confections.

When you think of a local business that represents our community, I feel like this bakery should be on top of that list. Not only are the croissants amazing(try that chocolate cinnamon one!) And the cakes fresh, but the owner, or at least the woman who is the face of the business is a gem. She is so kind and helpful. I stop by to buy treats when guests come over to visit, and they love as much as I do! Great place!

Fruit tarts are my favorite dessert and my go-to choice wherever offered. Finished my blueberry tart from Aux Petites Delices and have to share it’s the best ever eaten. The crust was flaky, the filling smooth and the berries perfectly glazed. Proportions of the layers were spot on and sweetened to perfection. Wow!

Stopped in this little bakery by chance! So glad we did.
It is a charming old fashioned Main Street bakery with the actual baker on site.
We picked up an amazing chocolate, whipped cream confection and some croissants. Both were wonderful.
We love a well crafted croissant. The croissants at this little bakery are works of art. Much lighter and flakier than some of the fancier new bakeries around. So delicious. I can't describe these well enough but give them a 10/10!!!!
(Whole Foods and Panera dry frozen dough croissants compare at a 2/10)
This will be a definite stop every time

This place is so cute 😍. I went in looking for a treat for the family and it was so perfect! I wish I would have gotten the woman's name, she was so friendly and welcoming! my daughter loved her cake pop! She devoured it; watching her eat it melted my heart ❤😅. I really regret not getting her more than 1!!! Can't wait to try the rest of the treats. We will back. Thank you so much!

Raspberry mousse cake I got was excellent. Definitely large amounts of raspberry flavor and you don't taste the sugar at all. It's great just as a dessert because it's not filling. Makes for a good birthday cake too.
Edit: I misread the sign
I got the raspberry mousse cake and it looks great! However the cashier accidentally rang it up as $30 instead of $26 but there were a lot of customers in line so I didn't want to hold them up. It's not a big issue because it's only $4, but worth keeping in mind.

I have had two 5-star visits to APD recently. I stopped in one day in early April to pick up a cake for a dinner party. The Opera cake was my first choice, and there was one ready to go. Everyone at the party raved about how delicious it was - beautifully made, exquisite piping, perfect layers and the crunchy bottom. All the guests had second helpings of this fabulous cake, so sadly there were no leftovers to bring home.
Last week I pre-ordered some macarons for a Mother's Day brunch. I selected three each of four different flavors: chocolate, strawberry, salted caramel, and cinnamon. They

Marqessa - thank you for not only for running a great and delicious bakery, but also how you treat each customer and employee with compassion and respect. It's clear that you care deeply about the pastries/cakes you put out, and also about catering to the community. Your hard work during the pandemic has not gone unnoticed and I hope more people discover how delicious your item are!

This is a delightful European Bakery in Wayne, PA. It's easy to pass it right by, because it's f the layout of shops on Lancaster Ave, but take the time and search out this gem. I have tried several different slices of exquisite cake over the past few months and enjoy every one of them. I recently purchased a whole cake, and no one else as disappointed. It was gluten free and to be honest I didn't care for the GF almond sponge, but it was such a minimal element in the cake that it didn't matter. The cake layers were chocolate mousse and raspberry mousseline topped with

We couldn't have been more impressed by the quality of the croissants (we tried the plain, chocolate, raspberry and white chocolate with cinnamon), baguettes and chocolate birthday cake that Marqessa is producing at this top quality French bakery. Super friendly service from this local business, which is doing an outstanding job during these challenging times. We'll be back again and again!!

I ventured out during the pandemic to purchase two baguettes and ended up buying four! Marqessa (Chef/Owner) also threw in a croissant to ensure that we'd never go anywhere else for French pastries, and she was right: This is the tastiest, most authentic croissant I've ever had in the U.S. Can't wait to enjoy a croissant and cappuccino "al fresco" when things are back to normal.
P.s. My wife purchased homemade chocolates from APD for Valentine's Day, and they were phenomenal.

Two stars because the cashier was very pleasant, and my espresso was good. However, I brought my son here to try macarons for the first time, believing they'd be better than the ones he saw at Acme which is what sparked his interest. Unfortunately, I think the grocery store's might have been better, since they clearly had filling. Neither of these had any filling. They were also quite dry and chewy.
We continued our search to two other bakeries and were quite pleased with our macaron discoveries. Wish we had better things to say about this place. Maybe they rock their other offerings

I don't understand the negative reviews. Okay, cashier could have been friendlier but then again, I was the crazy lady who literally bought all the croissants and bought a pistachio macaroon for her 3 yo. Best croissants EVER. And trust me, I'm picky. Whenever I eat something delicious, I try to make it at hoMe and improve on it but I'm not even going to touch this one. I will be back for more croissants.
On the negative side, I stopped by at 10:30 and they were already out of chocolate croissants.

Ordered mini pastries for a party. Did not know that Patrick Gauthron, founder and past owner of Aux Petit Delice sold the bakery. I've ordered from Patrick for 30 years. He did all the cakes, pastries, etc for me when I worked for the Philadelphia Phillies I? the Owner's Dining Room. The pastries I got yesterday were horrible! Quality was horrible, packaging was horrible. Since when do you stack and tape four boxes on top of each other. They caved in and smashed the bottom box. The Napoleons were the worst - DRIED out, no cream, the worst I've ever tasted. I spent $200

Ever since I discovered it a few years ago, Aux Petite Delices has become the only place we get all of our cakes in the family. Everyone has his or her favorite cake. It's honestly one of the best bakeries in the area.
I still remembered the first time I had the Chambord. The hazelnut and raspberries with chocolate cake tasted amazing!
If you like lemon cakes, you would love Citronelle. It's the best lemon cake and so much more! They always put macrons on it, and they have the best macarons.
